Target roles in Intuit's core engineering and product teams
Intuit's Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in technical and product roles where specialized skills are hardest to source locally. Software engineering, data science, and product management positions are your strongest entry points for a sponsorship conversation.
Understand the PERM labor certification timeline upfront
Green Card sponsorship at Intuit typically begins with PERM labor certification, which can take a year or more before an I-140 petition is filed. Asking about this process early in the offer stage shows you understand what you're asking for.
Use Migrate Mate to identify verified Green Card-sponsoring roles
Not every open role at Intuit comes with Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your applications on positions where sponsorship is genuinely on the table.
Join Intuit early through OPT or H-1B to build your sponsorship case
Many Intuit employees who receive Green Card sponsorship arrived first on F-1 OPT or H-1B visa status. Establishing your performance record internally before requesting sponsorship significantly strengthens your position with hiring managers and HR.
Ask about sponsorship policy during the offer negotiation stage
Intuit is an experienced Green Card sponsor, so raising the topic during offer negotiations is standard practice in the Technology & Software industry. Recruiters there are familiar with the process and will not be caught off guard by the question.
Align your role to a clearly defined specialty occupation
PERM and I-140 petitions require the role to meet specialty occupation standards. At Intuit, positions tied to specific technical domains, such as machine learning, cybersecurity, or financial software architecture, tend to have cleaner documentation paths than generalist roles.
Intuit Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Intuit sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company is an established Green Card sponsor in the Technology & Software sector, with a consistent history of filing permanent residency petitions for technical and specialized professional roles across its U.S. locations.
Which roles and departments at Intuit are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Intuit is most common in software engineering, data science, machine learning, product management, and finance technology roles. These positions require specialized skills that meet the specialty occupation threshold for PERM labor certification and I-140 petitions. Generalist or support roles are less frequently sponsored.
How does the Green Card application process work at Intuit?
Intuit typically sponsors employees through the employment-based Green Card process, which begins with PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Once approved, employees either adjust status within the U.S. or go through consular processing abroad, depending on their current visa status and priority date.
How long does the Green Card process take when sponsored by Intuit?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the employment-based category your role falls under. The PERM and I-140 stages alone can take one to two years. If your priority date is backlogged, the total wait can extend significantly longer, particularly for applicants born in India or China. Starting early matters.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship jobs at Intuit?
Intuit posts roles on its careers page, but not all listings explicitly state Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate aggregates verified sponsoring employers so you can search Intuit's open positions with confidence that the sponsorship history is real. Filtering by company and visa type saves time and helps you apply where it counts.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Intuit?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
