Job Roles at IQVIA
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in IQVIA Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles with deep technical specialization
IQVIA's Green Card sponsorships tend to concentrate in roles requiring niche expertise, such as biostatistics, clinical data management, health economics, and enterprise technology. The more specialized your background, the stronger your case for employer-sponsored permanent residency.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Green Card sponsorship at IQVIA typically begins with PERM, where the company demonstrates no qualified U.S. workers are available. Ask recruiters early whether the role is eligible, since not every position moves through this process automatically.
Raise Green Card intent during the offer stage
Consulting and professional services firms like IQVIA make immigration commitments during hiring negotiations. Waiting until after onboarding to raise Green Card sponsorship reduces your leverage. Address it directly when the offer is on the table.
Look for roles on teams with retention-focused hiring
Departments with high retention rates, such as real-world evidence, regulatory consulting, and technology solutions, are more likely to support Green Card filings. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history before applying.
Clarify which Green Card category applies to your background
IQVIA files under both EB-2 and EB-3 depending on the role and candidate qualifications. Understanding which category fits your education and experience level helps you set realistic timeline expectations and ask the right questions during recruiting.
Build tenure before the sponsorship window opens
IQVIA, like most consulting firms, typically initiates Green Card sponsorship after a demonstrated performance period. Arriving with strong contributions and a clear internal track record positions you as a sponsorship candidate when the process begins.

Does IQVIA sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, IQVIA sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees in the United States. The company files under the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories, primarily for roles in life sciences consulting, data analytics, clinical research, and technology. Sponsorship is employer-initiated, so eligibility is assessed role by role rather than as a blanket company policy.
Which roles and departments at IQVIA are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at IQVIA is most common in technically specialized roles, including biostatisticians, clinical data managers, health economists, regulatory consultants, and software engineers supporting healthcare platforms. Teams within real-world evidence, technology solutions, and regulatory science tend to have the strongest sponsorship track records due to the specialized qualifications those roles require.
How does the Green Card application process work at IQVIA?
IQVIA typically initiates the process with PERM labor certification, where the company's immigration counsel conducts a supervised recruitment effort to confirm no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. Once PERM is certified, IQVIA files an I-140 immigrant petition. Depending on your country of birth and the visa category, you may then wait for a visa number before filing for adjustment of status.
How long does the Green Card process take at IQVIA?
For most employees, the PERM and I-140 stages combined take roughly one to two years. After that, total wait time depends heavily on your country of birth and the EB category. Applicants born in India or China face significantly longer waits due to visa backlogs, while applicants from most other countries can often move to adjustment of status within a few years of I-140 approval.
How do I find open jobs at IQVIA that include Green Card sponsorship?
The clearest approach is to search for IQVIA roles on a platform that verifies actual sponsorship history rather than relying on job postings alone. Migrate Mate lets you filter companies by verified Green Card filings, so you can confirm IQVIA's sponsorship activity before investing time in an application. From there, targeting roles in IQVIA's data science, clinical, and technology divisions gives you the best starting point.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at IQVIA?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
