INTRODUCTION
Kforce's client in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and journal entries
- Lead or support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash applications as needed
- Assist with internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and schedules
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
- Develop and maintain reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial and operational initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4-7+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
COMPENSATION
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
