The Lead Technical Project Manager is tasked with ensuring customer needs from other Studios are addressed by the products and platforms developed by the Tech Studio. The TPM will engage with stakeholders, support product and project roadmap planning, and provide coaching and support to Tech Studio teams, focusing on Production Technology.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive execution of Tech Studio product delivery to meet partner needs.
Establish requirements from stakeholders and users.
Break down projects into clear, achievable milestones for effective execution.
Manage and coordinate budgets, staffing, and timelines.
Promote software development and Production Technology best practices.
Develop and maintain relationships with key partners.
Manage delivery of "Big Picture" initiatives.
Capture opportunities for optimization or productization of existing tools.
Provide coaching and support for Tech Studio product teams.
Escalate and mitigate risks and competing priorities.
Report progress, risks, and successes to stakeholders and senior leaders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience managing product teams and projects, including server room management and software licensing.
Senior project management experience using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Education and/or experience in Technology or Engineering.
Experience managing servers for VFX Rendering.
Experience managing up to Director and VP-level management.
