Job Roles at Sodexo
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Sodexo Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target management and operations roles
Sodexo's Green Card sponsorship tends to concentrate in food service management, district management, and operations leadership. These roles align with the company's core Food & Beverage business and are more likely to involve long-term sponsorship commitments than entry-level positions.
Raise Green Card early in your offer negotiation
Don't wait until you're deep into employment to bring up permanent residence. Asking about Sodexo's Green Card policy during offer negotiation signals intent and gives HR time to align your start date with a sponsorship timeline that works for both sides.
Understand PERM labor certification timelines
Sodexo's Green Card process typically begins with PERM labor certification, which requires DOL approval before USCIS filing. This stage alone can take over a year, so aligning your employment timeline with realistic expectations early prevents surprises down the road.
Use Migrate Mate to verify sponsorship history
Before applying, confirm Sodexo's actual sponsorship track record. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsor data so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify which Sodexo locations or divisions have sponsored candidates for permanent residence.
Build tenure before expecting sponsorship
Sodexo, like most Food & Beverage employers, typically sponsors Green Cards for employees who have demonstrated value over time. Proving reliability and performance in your role significantly strengthens the internal business justification your hiring manager needs to initiate the process.
Clarify which entity will be your petitioner
Sodexo operates through multiple subsidiaries and service divisions. Confirm early which legal entity will appear on your Green Card petition, as this affects which immigration counsel handles your case and how your employment continuity is documented through PERM and I-140 filing.

Does Sodexo sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Sodexo does sponsor Green Card visas. The company's sponsorship activity is primarily concentrated in management, operations, and specialized Food & Beverage roles across its U.S. locations. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every position, so it's worth confirming directly with the hiring team or HR during your application process.
Which roles at Sodexo are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Sodexo is most common in food service management, district and regional operations roles, and positions requiring specialized expertise in Food & Beverage or facilities management. Corporate functions in HR, finance, and technology may also qualify, particularly for candidates with specialized credentials that are difficult to fill domestically.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Sodexo?
The process typically begins with PERM labor certification, where Sodexo's immigration counsel conducts a supervised recruitment effort to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. Once PERM is approved by the DOL, Sodexo files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. You'll want to align closely with HR and the company's immigration attorney throughout.
How long does the Green Card process take at Sodexo?
The timeline depends on your visa category and country of birth. For most candidates, PERM labor certification takes six months to over a year, followed by I-140 adjudication. If your priority date is current, you can then file for adjustment of status. Indian and Chinese nationals typically face longer waits due to per-country backlogs that can extend years beyond approval.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship jobs at Sodexo?
Start by filtering for Sodexo roles on Migrate Mate, which shows verified sponsorship history by employer so you can identify positions with a real track record of Green Card support. When you apply, ask the recruiter directly whether the role is eligible for permanent residence sponsorship, since not every open position at Sodexo will qualify.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Sodexo?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
