Job Roles at Amphenol
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Amphenol H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target engineering and technical roles first
Amphenol's H-1B sponsorships cluster around engineering, product development, and manufacturing disciplines. Focus your applications on roles where a specific degree requirement is clear, these are far more likely to qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B standards.
Raise sponsorship early in the process
Amphenol recruiters need time to coordinate legal and HR teams for H-1B filings. Mention your visa requirement in the initial screening call, not after an offer, so the right people are looped in before the process moves forward.
Understand Amphenol's decentralized structure
Amphenol operates through numerous divisions and subsidiaries. Sponsorship decisions are often made at the business unit level, so hiring managers in one division may have more flexibility than others. Research the specific division you're applying to.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm sponsorship history
Not every Amphenol job posting flags visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which Amphenol divisions and roles have a documented track record of H-1B support.
Align your experience with the construction and real estate context
Amphenol's Construction and Real Estate industry presence means demand for professionals with project management, systems integration, and infrastructure experience. Framing your skills around built-environment applications strengthens your case for sponsorship in relevant roles.
Plan around the H-1B cap and lottery timeline
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, USCIS registration opens in March with an April 1 start date for approved petitions. Coordinate your Amphenol job search and offer timing to ensure your employer can file within the registration window.

Does Amphenol sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Amphenol sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, it depends on the role, the business unit, and whether the position meets the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Engineering and technical roles are the most consistent candidates for sponsorship across Amphenol's divisions.
Which roles and departments at Amphenol are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Amphenol's H-1B sponsorships have historically supported engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering, as well as product development and systems integration roles. Corporate functions such as finance and IT may also qualify in some divisions. Roles requiring a general degree without a specific field of study are less likely to meet the specialty occupation threshold.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Amphenol?
Once Amphenol extends an offer to a visa-dependent candidate, HR coordinates with outside immigration counsel to prepare the H-1B petition. The employer handles the Labor Condition Application filing with the Department of Labor and the I-129 petition with USCIS. Your role is to provide documentation, transcripts, employment history, and passport information, promptly to avoid delays.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Amphenol that are open to visa sponsorship?
Amphenol job postings don't always specify visa sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate lets you search Amphenol roles filtered by verified H-1B sponsorship history, saving you time and reducing the risk of pursuing positions that won't support your visa. Cross-referencing with Amphenol's careers page helps confirm current openings.
What timeline should I expect for H-1B sponsorship at Amphenol?
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, plan for a March lottery registration, an October 1 employment start date at the earliest, and several months of internal HR and legal preparation before that. Cap-exempt situations, such as candidates already holding H-1B status transferring to Amphenol, can move faster, sometimes within a few weeks of the petition filing.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Amphenol?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
