Job Roles at Bennett Thrasher
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Bennett Thrasher H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target tax and audit roles directly
Bennett Thrasher's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in its core service lines: tax advisory, audit, and assurance. Applying to roles within these departments gives you the strongest chance of landing a position with sponsorship support.
Understand the H-1B cap and lottery timing
H-1B petitions are subject to an annual lottery with an April 1 filing window. Bennett Thrasher will need to begin your petition well before that deadline, so raise sponsorship early in the hiring conversation to avoid missing the cycle.
Highlight your specialty occupation credentials
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher. For accounting firms like Bennett Thrasher, a degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field strengthens your petition significantly.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsorship openings
Not every job posting discloses sponsorship willingness upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize Bennett Thrasher roles where H-1B support is confirmed rather than assumed.
Align your experience with their advisory specializations
Bennett Thrasher serves clients in industries including real estate, technology, and private equity. Candidates who can demonstrate relevant industry knowledge alongside technical accounting skills are more competitive and easier for the firm to justify sponsoring.
Be prepared for the Labor Condition Application process
Before Bennett Thrasher can file your H-1B petition, it must obtain a certified Labor Condition Application from the Department of Labor confirming your offered wage meets prevailing standards. Cooperate promptly with HR requests to keep the timeline on track.

Does Bennett Thrasher sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Bennett Thrasher sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates. The firm has an established immigration support process and works with international professionals in its accounting and advisory practices. Sponsorship is most commonly offered for roles in tax, audit, and consulting where the specialty occupation requirements are clearly met.
Which roles at Bennett Thrasher are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Bennett Thrasher is concentrated in core professional services roles, particularly in tax advisory, audit and assurance, and transaction advisory. These positions require specialized degree qualifications that align well with the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies to H-1B petitions. Roles in support or administrative functions are unlikely candidates for sponsorship.
How do I apply for a job at Bennett Thrasher as an H-1B candidate?
Apply through Bennett Thrasher's careers page and disclose your need for H-1B sponsorship early in the process, ideally before the first interview. This allows the firm to assess sponsorship feasibility before extending an offer. Migrate Mate can help you identify current openings at Bennett Thrasher where sponsorship has been confirmed through filing history.
How do I navigate the H-1B timeline when working with Bennett Thrasher?
The H-1B lottery opens in March each year, with petitions filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. If you are selected, Bennett Thrasher must prepare and file your petition with USCIS within the filing window. Starting conversations with the firm's HR team several months before March gives both sides time to prepare the petition properly.
What should I know about the H-1B petition process at an accounting firm like Bennett Thrasher?
Accounting firms sponsoring H-1B visas must document that the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, which at Bennett Thrasher typically means demonstrating the position requires a specific degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. The firm's HR and legal team will handle the petition filing, but you should be prepared to provide educational credentials, transcripts, and employment documentation promptly to avoid delays.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Bennett Thrasher?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
