Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Dennis Group's H-1B petitions must satisfy the specialty occupation requirement, meaning your degree must directly relate to the role. Review O*NET profiles for your target job title and confirm your degree field maps clearly before applying, as mismatches are a common RFE trigger.
Target roles in engineering and project delivery
Dennis Group's core work involves food and beverage facility design, so H-1B sponsorship is most active in process, mechanical, and project engineering roles. Focus your search on these functions rather than general administrative or support positions, which are less likely to generate sponsorship offers.
Verify Dennis Group's LCA history on Migrate Mate
Before reaching out to recruiters, search Dennis Group on Migrate Mate to review its Labor Condition Application filing history by job title and location. This tells you which roles the company has sponsored before and helps you target positions where sponsorship is already an established practice.
Confirm prevailing wage compliance before negotiating salary
Dennis Group's LCA must certify your offered wage meets DOL prevailing wage standards for your role and work location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the Level I through Level IV wage range for your occupation before salary discussions, so you can negotiate within a realistic and compliant range.
Submit your H-1B cap registration during the March window
H-1B cap registration opens in March and closes within days. Dennis Group must register you before USCIS conducts the lottery. Confirm your employer's timeline for internal approvals and legal engagement well before February so nothing delays your registration submission and you don't miss the only annual entry window.
Request premium processing for time-sensitive start dates
Standard H-1B adjudication can run several months after the April 1 filing date, potentially delaying your October 1 start. Ask Dennis Group's HR or legal team about premium processing, which USCIS adjudicates within 15 business days and is especially practical when your start date or current status has a hard deadline.
Dennis Group H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Dennis Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Dennis Group sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established sponsorship track record, primarily for engineering and technical roles tied to food and beverage facility projects. Sponsorship is most consistent for positions requiring a specialized degree in a field directly related to the role, as USCIS requires for H-1B specialty occupation eligibility.
Which roles at Dennis Group are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Dennis Group is most common in process engineering, mechanical engineering, project management, and related technical disciplines. These roles align with the company's core work in food and beverage facility design and construction, where a directly related bachelor's degree is a standard requirement and specialty occupation status is straightforward to establish.
How do I start the H-1B sponsorship process at Dennis Group?
The process begins when Dennis Group's HR team engages an immigration attorney to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL. Once the LCA is certified, the attorney files Form I-129 with USCIS. You'll need to provide your educational credentials, employment offer details, and any prior immigration documents. Internal approval timelines vary, so raise sponsorship early in the offer stage.
How long does the H-1B process take at Dennis Group?
The full H-1B timeline typically spans several months. Cap-subject petitions are filed after the March lottery and take effect October 1 at the earliest. Standard USCIS adjudication can add several additional months after the April 1 filing window. Premium processing reduces adjudication to 15 business days and is an option Dennis Group can elect for time-sensitive situations.
How do I find open H-1B roles at Dennis Group?
Search Dennis Group on Migrate Mate to browse current openings filtered for H-1B sponsorship and to review the company's Labor Condition Application history by role and location. Cross-referencing active job postings with past LCA filings helps you identify which positions have a real sponsorship precedent, saving time spent pursuing roles where sponsorship is unlikely.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Dennis Group?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
