Target technical and engineering roles first

Understand the H-1B is their primary sponsorship vehicle

Filter for verified sponsors when job searching
Not every food and beverage company will commit to sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your applications on companies like Schreiber Foods that have a demonstrated track record.
Use OPT and CPT proactively as an audition
Schreiber Foods accepts F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, which gives international students a foot in the door. Treat any internship or OPT role as a working interview, strong performers are far better positioned to secure H-1B sponsorship offers.
