About The Team
DoorDash for Business provides meals solutions to companies, but we aren’t stopping there. Our mission is to become a premier benefits partner for executives, employees and administrators across the globe, leveraging the DoorDash platform to deliver industry-leading selection, quality, and customer service to every business customer, for every business use case. We are building an entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed, and fast moving team to create the right products and services for the future of work.
About The Role
We are looking for someone who is passionate about building a high-growth business to join DoorDash for Business, DoorDash's corporate offering. In this role, you will proactively identify and solve the root causes of customer friction to reduce defects and improve the customer experience at scale. You will analyze customer support and operational data to uncover critical trends, determine the true scope and impact of issues, and design solutions that prevent problems before they occur. You will synthesize insights that highlight key pain points, advocate for the voice of the customer, and influence strategic decisions across Product, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated first-principles thinker with a deep sense of ownership who thrives in ambiguity and consistently delivers results through influence. You are relentless in solving complex business problems, willing to challenge assumptions, and think creatively beyond standard product solutions. You can seamlessly move between strategic planning and operational execution, using data to inform decisions while maintaining a strong bias for action. You are equally comfortable setting direction, driving cross-functional alignment, and rolling up your sleeves to execute. This is a true Strategy & Operations role with significant visibility and impact across the business. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Strategy and Operations, DoorDash for Business Client Success, you will work closely with product, engineering, operations and other teams to make your vision a reality.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
- Strategize – Understand the needs of our clients, prioritize those needs by impact on defect ratio and customer experience, and create solutions with cross-functional partners that proactively eliminate friction.
- Operate – Get to the lowest level of detail, and scale. You will work directly with internal and external partners to execute on your short & long-term plans; you are a cross functional success enabler and an excellent operator who can deliver both product-informed and operations-driven solutions.
- Build – Deploy a data-driven approach to identify emerging customer support trends, quantify their impact, and develop solutions that prevent defects and improve the overall customer experience.
- Collaborate – Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure customer feedback is consistently integrated into product development and service enhancements, while also driving non-product solutions when needed.
- Construct – Navigate in an ambiguous environment and bring structure to undefined opportunities. There won’t always be playbooks or templates; instead you will create them and independently drive problems from identification through resolution.
- Analyze – Leverage data to inform hypotheses and align cross functional partners, while understanding when data is directionally sufficient to act and move forward quickly.
We’re Excited About You Because…
- You have 6+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting; direct management experience, high-growth startup (scaling a business from 0 - 1) experience is preferred
- You have a proven track record of owning and leading complex cross-functional workstreams, setting strategy, driving alignment across stakeholders, and consistently delivering measurable business outcomes in fast-paced environments.
- You are a highly analytical and strategic thinker who can synthesize complex datasets into actionable recommendations, influence decision-making, and drive business results. Advanced SQL experience strongly preferred.
- You are deeply customer-centric and able to balance the needs of customers, merchants, Dashers, and the business while building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable operating with limited direction. You proactively identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, develop strategic solutions, and drive execution from concept through implementation.
- You are AI-forward and leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies in novel ways to scale impact, improve team efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and solve business problems more effectively.
We expect this position to be filled by 8/18/26.

Target DoorDash's core technical teams
DoorDash's strongest H-1B sponsorship activity centers on software engineering, machine learning, and data science roles. Focusing your application on these departments gives you the best chance of landing a role where H-1B sponsorship is a well-established part of the hiring process.
Confirm sponsorship eligibility before applying
Not every DoorDash role qualifies as a specialty occupation under H-1B rules. Review the job description carefully for degree requirements in a specific field. Roles requiring any bachelor's degree regardless of field are less likely to support a successful H-1B petition.
Engage DoorDash's recruiting team early
Mention your need for H-1B sponsorship early in the recruiter conversation, not after an offer. DoorDash's recruiting process in tech moves quickly, and surfacing visa needs upfront avoids late-stage complications and helps recruiters route you through the right approval channels.
Understand the H-1B cap and timing
If you need an initial H-1B cap-subject petition, timing your DoorDash job search around the annual April lottery registration window is essential. Starting your search in the preceding months gives you the runway to secure an offer and complete registration before the deadline.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified DoorDash openings
Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, including DoorDash. This helps you focus your applications on roles where H-1B sponsorship is confirmed rather than spending time on listings where it's unclear or unlikely.
Leverage DoorDash's presence in a cap-exempt ecosystem
If you're currently in F-1 OPT or another status, DoorDash can file your H-1B petition to start on October 1 following a successful lottery selection. Align your offer acceptance and OPT expiration planning so there's no gap in your work authorization during the transition.
DoorDash H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas and has a consistent track record of doing so across its technology and software operations. The company regularly files H-1B petitions for roles in engineering, data science, and product. International candidates in technical fields will find DoorDash a realistic sponsoring employer when applying through the right channels.
Which roles and departments at DoorDash typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at DoorDash is most common in software engineering, machine learning, data engineering, and product management. These roles consistently meet the specialty occupation standard because they require a degree in a specific technical field. Business operations, general management, and support roles are less likely to qualify and are sponsored less frequently.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at DoorDash?
Once DoorDash extends an offer and confirms sponsorship, their immigration team typically works with an outside law firm to prepare the H-1B petition. You'll provide educational credentials, employment details, and supporting documentation. DoorDash coordinates the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor before filing the full petition with USCIS. The process is employer-led, but staying responsive to document requests keeps things on track.
How do I find open H-1B roles at DoorDash?
Migrate Mate lists verified H-1B sponsors including DoorDash, letting you filter for roles where sponsorship is confirmed from actual filing history. You can also search DoorDash's careers page directly, but pairing that with Migrate Mate's sponsorship data ensures you're applying for positions where H-1B support is genuinely available, not just implied in the job description.
What is the typical H-1B sponsorship timeline I should expect at DoorDash?
The timeline depends on where you are in the H-1B process. Cap-subject petitions must go through the annual lottery, with registration typically opening in March and employment starting October 1 if selected. For candidates already in valid H-1B status, DoorDash can file a transfer petition and you can begin work once the receipt notice is issued. Premium processing, which USCIS adjudicates within a set business day window, is sometimes available and can accelerate approval.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at DoorDash?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
