Align your credentials with specialty occupation standards
USCIS requires your role at ENFRA to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning your degree must directly relate to the position. Review the O*NET profile for your target job title and confirm your academic background matches the minimum educational requirements before applying.
Research ENFRA's active project pipeline before interviewing
Consulting firms sponsor H-1B visas when billable project demand justifies the hire. Before your interview, research ENFRA's publicly announced contracts or service lines so you can frame your expertise around active client needs rather than general capability.
Verify ENFRA's E-Verify enrollment status early
H-1B employers must be enrolled in E-Verify for STEM OPT transitions and certain federal contracts. Confirm ENFRA's enrollment through E-Verify's employer search before accepting an offer, especially if your role touches government or defense consulting work.
Benchmark your offer against DOL prevailing wage levels
Your H-1B offer must meet the DOL prevailing wage for your occupation and work location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up Level I through Level IV wages for your specific role before negotiating, so you know whether the offer clears the legal threshold.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified ENFRA H-1B job listings
Targeting roles where sponsorship is already confirmed saves significant time. Migrate Mate surfaces ENFRA positions filtered by H-1B filing history, so you can apply directly to openings where the company has an established sponsorship track record for your occupation type.
Clarify the H-1B filing timeline with your ENFRA recruiter
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. During the offer stage, ask your ENFRA recruiter whether your role qualifies for cap exemption through any affiliated nonprofit or research entity, since consulting firms sometimes have dual-entity arrangements.
ENFRA H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does ENFRA sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, ENFRA sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles in consulting and professional services. Sponsorship is typically tied to specific project needs and specialty occupation requirements, so availability can vary by team and engagement type. Candidates should confirm sponsorship eligibility directly with ENFRA's recruiting team during the interview process.
Which roles at ENFRA typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at ENFRA is most common in technical consulting, advisory, and project management roles that require a directly related bachelor's degree or higher. Positions in management consulting, IT services, and specialized professional services are the most likely candidates, as these align with USCIS specialty occupation criteria.
How do I start the H-1B application process at ENFRA?
Once ENFRA extends a job offer, their HR or legal team typically initiates the H-1B petition process, including filing the Labor Condition Application with DOL and submitting Form I-129 to USCIS. Your role is to provide education credentials, employment history, and any prior immigration documents promptly to keep the filing timeline on track.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at ENFRA?
For cap-subject petitions, USCIS begins accepting filings in April for an October 1 start date, so the process spans several months from offer to authorization. Premium processing through USCIS can reduce the adjudication window significantly. Your ENFRA recruiter should clarify whether premium processing is included in your sponsorship package.
How do I find open H-1B jobs at ENFRA?
Migrate Mate lists ENFRA roles filtered by verified H-1B sponsorship history, which helps you focus on positions where sponsorship is genuinely available rather than speculative. You can also apply directly through ENFRA's careers page and indicate your visa status early in the process to confirm sponsorship eligibility before advancing through multiple interview rounds.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at ENFRA?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
