Job Roles at Hologic
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Hologic H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and engineering roles
Hologic's H-1B sponsorship concentrates in roles that require specialized degrees, think manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. Applying to positions with clear degree requirements in a specific field strengthens your sponsorship case from the start.
Understand the manufacturing context
Hologic operates in a regulated medical device environment where specialty occupation criteria are well-established. Roles tied to FDA-regulated processes, quality systems, or product development are the most likely to meet H-1B specialty occupation standards without ambiguity.
Search for verified H-1B sponsors
Not every job posting flags sponsorship availability clearly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your applications on companies like Hologic that have an active H-1B track record.
Align your degree to the posted role
Hologic's H-1B petitions depend on demonstrating that your degree field directly matches the job. Before applying, confirm your degree aligns with the role's technical requirements, a mismatch is the most common reason H-1B petitions face scrutiny.
Apply well ahead of the April H-1B lottery deadline
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March for an October 1 start date. To be considered in that cycle, you need to have an offer and be registered by your employer before the window closes, plan your job search and interview timeline accordingly.
Ask about sponsorship directly during interviews
Hologic recruiters in technical and scientific functions are generally familiar with H-1B processes. Raising sponsorship early in conversations with hiring managers or HR, framed around your qualifications and timeline, avoids surprises late in the offer stage.

Does Hologic sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Hologic sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles across its manufacturing and medical device operations. Sponsorship is most consistent for technical, engineering, scientific, and regulatory positions where the specialty occupation requirement is clearly met by the role's degree and skill demands.
Which roles and departments at Hologic typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Hologic is most common in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, research and development, regulatory affairs, and software development. These functions require specialized degrees in fields like mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, which aligns well with H-1B specialty occupation criteria.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Hologic?
Once Hologic extends a job offer and agrees to sponsor, the company's immigration counsel files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, followed by the H-1B petition with USCIS. Your role is to provide documentation supporting your degree and qualifications. The process is employer-driven, so staying in close contact with HR and their legal team keeps things on track.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at Hologic?
If you're subject to the annual H-1B cap, expect the process to span several months from registration in March to an October 1 work start date. Hologic can file for premium processing to get a faster USCIS decision on the petition itself, though that doesn't change the cap start date. Cap-exempt scenarios, such as transfers from another H-1B employer, can move faster.
How do I find open H-1B jobs at Hologic?
Hologic posts openings on its careers site, but confirming which roles come with sponsorship isn't always obvious from the listing. Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for verified H-1B sponsors and filter for companies like Hologic, so you're not guessing about sponsorship availability before investing time in an application.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Hologic?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
