Job Roles at Kerry
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Kerry H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and scientific roles
Kerry's H-1B sponsorships are concentrated in food science, R&D, process engineering, and regulatory affairs. Focusing your applications on these specialty occupation roles gives you the strongest chance of securing sponsorship at Kerry.
Confirm sponsorship willingness early
Before investing significant time in Kerry's hiring process, ask your recruiter directly whether the role is open to H-1B sponsorship. Kerry sponsors selectively, so confirming upfront saves time for both you and the hiring team.
Align your degree to the role precisely
H-1B requires a direct relationship between your degree field and the job. For Kerry, a food science, chemical engineering, or nutrition degree paired with a matching role strengthens your petition considerably compared to a generalist background.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsoring roles
Migrate Mate surfaces verified H-1B sponsors so you can filter specifically for Kerry openings with real sponsorship history, rather than guessing which job postings will actually support an H-1B petition.
Understand Kerry's internal approval process
Large food and beverage companies like Kerry typically require legal and HR sign-off before committing to H-1B sponsorship. Build extra time into your expectations and follow up proactively if you haven't received a sponsorship decision after an offer.

Does Kerry sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Kerry sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles in the United States. Sponsorship is most common in technical and scientific positions such as food science, R&D, process engineering, and regulatory affairs. Kerry evaluates H-1B sponsorship on a role-by-role basis, so not every open position will come with a sponsorship commitment.
Which departments at Kerry are most likely to offer H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Kerry is most consistently available in research and development, food science, engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. These functions require specialized academic backgrounds that align well with H-1B's specialty occupation standard. Corporate functions such as finance or supply chain may occasionally sponsor, but technical roles represent the clearest path.
How do I apply for a role at Kerry that includes H-1B sponsorship?
Apply through Kerry's careers page or platforms like Migrate Mate, which filters for verified H-1B sponsors. Once you receive interest from a recruiter, confirm early that the position supports H-1B. If Kerry extends an offer, their legal team will coordinate with an immigration attorney to prepare and file the H-1B petition with USCIS on your behalf.
How do I know what timeline to expect for H-1B sponsorship at Kerry?
The H-1B cap registration window typically opens in March, with petitions filed shortly after for an October 1 start date. If you are selected in the lottery, Kerry's legal team will manage the petition filing. Premium processing is available to reduce the USCIS adjudication window from several months to a matter of weeks, though Kerry's use of premium processing varies by situation.
How do I make my application stand out for an H-1B role at Kerry?
Tailor your resume to emphasize the specific technical skills and degree field that match the role, since H-1B approval depends on a clear degree-to-job connection. Highlight any food science, regulatory, or engineering expertise that maps directly to Kerry's core business. Demonstrating industry knowledge in food and beverage innovation signals that you can contribute immediately and reduces the perceived risk of sponsoring a visa.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Kerry?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
