Job Roles at Klein Tools
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Klein Tools H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target engineering and technical roles
Klein Tools' H-1B sponsorships are concentrated in technical functions like mechanical engineering, product development, and manufacturing operations. Focus your applications on roles where a specialized degree is clearly required, as these meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard.
Verify active sponsorship before applying
Not every open role at Klein Tools will come with H-1B sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which Klein Tools positions have actually supported H-1B candidates in the past.
Apply well before the April H-1B lottery deadline
Klein Tools must register you for the H-1B lottery by late March for an October 1 start. Build your application timeline backward from that date so hiring, offer letters, and petition prep don't collide with the registration window.
Emphasize the specialty occupation connection in your resume
Klein Tools operates in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Make your resume explicit about how your degree field directly applies to the role, since USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation claims closely in manufacturing industry H-1B petitions.
Engage with Klein Tools' talent acquisition team directly
For H-1B sponsorship conversations, reaching the recruiter early matters. Ask specifically whether the role supports sponsorship during initial screening, rather than waiting until after an offer, to avoid late-stage surprises during the petition preparation process.
Understand that cap-exempt options may not apply here
Klein Tools is a for-profit manufacturer, so its H-1B hires are subject to the annual lottery cap. Unless you already hold H-1B status from a previous employer, your petition needs to clear the lottery before Klein Tools can proceed with sponsorship.

Does Klein Tools sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Klein Tools does sponsor H-1B visas. The company has an established sponsorship track record, primarily for technical and engineering roles within its manufacturing operations. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, so confirming with the recruiter early in the process is important before investing significant time in an application.
Which roles and departments at Klein Tools are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Klein Tools is most commonly associated with roles in mechanical engineering, product design, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain management. These positions typically require a relevant bachelor's degree or higher, which aligns with the specialty occupation requirement that USCIS uses to evaluate H-1B eligibility in the manufacturing sector.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Klein Tools?
Once Klein Tools extends a job offer and confirms sponsorship, the company works with an immigration attorney to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, then submits the H-1B petition to USCIS. Your role is primarily to provide documentation about your education and work history. The process begins months before the intended start date, so an early offer matters significantly.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Klein Tools?
For new H-1B cap-subject petitions, the timeline spans several months. Klein Tools must register you for the April lottery, and if selected, the petition is filed for an October 1 start date. From registration to employment authorization, the process runs approximately six months at minimum, not accounting for any USCIS Requests for Evidence that could extend that window further.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Klein Tools that actually include sponsorship?
Job postings rarely specify H-1B sponsorship clearly, which makes it difficult to know where to focus. Migrate Mate aggregates job opportunities from verified H-1B sponsors, so you can search Klein Tools specifically and see roles where sponsorship has been documented. Combining that with direct outreach to Klein Tools recruiters gives you the most reliable picture of which openings are genuinely sponsorship-eligible.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Klein Tools?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
