Job Roles at Linde
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Linde H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target engineering and technical roles first
Linde's H-1B sponsorships concentrate in chemical engineering, process engineering, and R&D functions tied to its industrial gases and chemicals business. Focus your applications on roles where your technical degree aligns directly with core operations.
Align your application with the H-1B cap timeline
H-1B petitions are filed in April for an October start date. To land an offer at Linde that fits this window, start applying in the preceding fall or winter so the hiring process concludes with enough lead time.
Highlight specialty occupation credentials clearly
Linde operates in a highly regulated, degree-specific industry. Make your academic background and technical specialization unmistakable on your resume, vague qualifications slow down the sponsorship determination during Linde's internal HR review.
Research Linde's verified sponsorship history before applying
Confirming a company's real sponsorship track record before investing time in applications saves effort. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus on Linde roles with confirmed H-1B activity.
Engage Linde recruiters at industry and campus events
Linde actively recruits from universities with strong chemical and materials engineering programs. Direct recruiter relationships built at career fairs or industry conferences can accelerate sponsorship conversations that wouldn't happen through cold applications.
Understand that Linde's immigration process involves outside counsel
Large chemicals companies like Linde typically work with immigration law firms to prepare H-1B petitions. Expect a structured process with documented steps once an offer is extended, and respond to information requests from their legal team promptly.

Does Linde sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Linde sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles in the United States. The company has an established history of sponsoring foreign nationals in technical, engineering, and scientific positions. Sponsorship is employer-initiated, so it's confirmed at the offer stage rather than guaranteed for every open role.
Which roles and departments at Linde are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorships at Linde are concentrated in roles that require a specific bachelor's degree or higher, including chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, data science, and research and development. Corporate functions like finance and supply chain analytics can also qualify, provided the position meets the specialty occupation standard.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Linde?
Once Linde extends an offer and confirms sponsorship, their HR and legal team files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, then submits the H-1B petition to USCIS. Your role is to provide documentation of your degree, work history, and immigration status. Responding quickly to information requests keeps the process on schedule.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Linde?
From offer acceptance to an approved H-1B, expect several months if you're subject to the annual cap. The cap lottery runs in April and, if selected, standard processing takes three to five months, with premium processing available to accelerate approval to around 15 business days. Linde's structured process means timelines are generally predictable once the petition is filed.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Linde that are open to visa sponsorship?
Not every Linde job posting explicitly states whether H-1B sponsorship is available, which makes filtering difficult on general job boards. Migrate Mate aggregates roles from verified H-1B sponsors, including Linde, so you can search specifically for positions with a confirmed sponsorship history rather than guessing based on job description language.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Linde?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
