Job Roles at Nutanix
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Nutanix H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target engineering and product roles
Nutanix's H-1B filings are concentrated in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and product development. Focusing your applications on these departments gives you the best chance of landing a role that comes with H-1B sponsorship built into the offer.
Verify sponsorship history before applying
Not every open role at a technology company comes with guaranteed H-1B sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and avoid wasting applications on roles that won't support your visa.
Align your background with Nutanix's core stack
Nutanix builds enterprise cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure products. Candidates with hands-on experience in distributed systems, virtualization, or cloud-native development are well-positioned for the specialty occupation roles Nutanix routinely sponsors.
Raise sponsorship early in the recruiter conversation
In Technology and Software companies like Nutanix, immigration decisions are often made at the offer stage. Asking about H-1B support during your first recruiter screen avoids late-stage surprises and signals that you understand the process.
Prepare a strong specialty occupation case
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations. Review your job description carefully and ensure your degree field directly maps to the role. For technical positions at Nutanix, this alignment is typically straightforward but still worth documenting clearly.

Does Nutanix sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Nutanix sponsors H-1B visas and has a consistent record of doing so for roles in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and product development. The company operates in enterprise technology, a sector where H-1B sponsorship is standard practice. Sponsorship availability still depends on the specific role and hiring team, so confirming during the recruitment process is advisable.
Which roles and departments at Nutanix typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Nutanix is most common in engineering, research and development, and technical product roles. Software engineers, cloud architects, site reliability engineers, and data scientists represent the types of positions that routinely qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B rules. Business and sales roles are sponsored less frequently.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Nutanix?
Once Nutanix extends an offer, their immigration team or an outside counsel firm handles the petition. Your role is to provide educational credentials, employment history, and supporting documentation. The employer files the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor first, then submits Form I-129 to USCIS during the April cap filing window.
How do I find H-1B sponsored jobs at Nutanix?
Nutanix posts open roles on its careers site, but job listings rarely specify H-1B sponsorship status. Migrate Mate aggregates roles from verified H-1B sponsors, including Nutanix, so you can search with confidence that the company has a real sponsorship track record rather than relying on guesswork from generic job boards.
How do I manage the timeline between a Nutanix offer and my H-1B start date?
H-1B employment at a cap-subject company cannot begin before October 1, the start of the federal fiscal year. If you receive an offer from Nutanix outside a current period of authorized work, you'll need to bridge the gap using OPT, OPT extension, or another valid status. Clarify your current authorization status and expiration date with Nutanix's HR team as early as possible.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Nutanix?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
