Target Veeva's core technical roles
Veeva's H-1B filings concentrate in software engineering, data engineering, and cloud platform roles. Positioning your application around Veeva's life sciences software products increases your chances of landing a role that qualifies for H-1B sponsorship.
Understand Veeva's niche before applying
Veeva builds software exclusively for the life sciences industry. Candidates who can speak to pharma or biotech workflows, regulatory data, or clinical trial technology stand out significantly in interviews and are more likely to be considered for sponsored roles.
Raise sponsorship early in the process
In Technology and Software hiring, recruiters move fast. Mention your H-1B sponsorship need in your first recruiter conversation rather than waiting. Veeva's HR team is experienced with sponsorship, so transparency upfront avoids late-stage surprises.
Use verified sponsorship data when job hunting
Not every Veeva job listing will explicitly state H-1B sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus only on Veeva openings confirmed to support visa candidates.
Time your application around the H-1B cap cycle
If you need a new H-1B, Veeva must file by the April lottery deadline for an October start date. Start conversations with Veeva recruiters in January or February to allow enough time for offer, LCA filing, and petition preparation.
Highlight domain expertise, not just technical skills
Veeva hires for a narrow vertical. Candidates with experience in clinical data, pharmaceutical manufacturing software, or life sciences compliance processes carry more weight than general software generalists when competing for H-1B-eligible positions.
Veeva Systems H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Veeva Systems sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Veeva Systems sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a consistent track record of filing H-1B petitions, primarily for technical roles in software engineering, data science, and product development. Veeva also sponsors H-1B1 visa, F-1 OPT, TN visa, and employment-based Green Card pathways for eligible employees.
Which roles and departments at Veeva Systems typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Veeva Systems is most common in software engineering, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and technical product management. These roles require specialized degree backgrounds that align with the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Business and sales roles are less frequently sponsored, though exceptions exist depending on the position's technical requirements.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Veeva Systems?
Once Veeva extends a job offer, their immigration team works with an outside counsel to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, then submits the I-129 petition to USCIS. Your role is to provide educational credentials and prior immigration documents promptly. Veeva's HR team handles the filing logistics, but staying responsive to documentation requests keeps the process on track.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at Veeva Systems?
For cap-subject candidates, expect a minimum of six to eight months from offer to work authorization, given the April lottery and October 1 start date. If you already hold H-1B status from another employer, Veeva can file a transfer petition and you may begin working as soon as USCIS receives it. Premium processing, which expedites USCIS review to around 15 business days, is an option Veeva may offer depending on hiring urgency.
How do I find open H-1B jobs at Veeva Systems?
Veeva posts openings on its careers page, but not all listings clearly indicate sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for Veeva Systems roles with verified H-1B sponsorship history, so you can apply with confidence rather than guessing. Focus your search on engineering and technical product roles, where sponsorship is most consistently available.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Veeva Systems?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
