Align your credentials to Vituity's clinical model
Vituity operates as a physician-led partnership staffing acute care settings, so your CV should emphasize procedural volume, shift-based experience, and team-based care. Board certification or active candidacy in your specialty signals you're practice-ready for their high-acuity environments.
Confirm your specialty matches open service lines
Vituity primarily hires for emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, and anesthesia. Targeting roles that match your residency or fellowship specialty avoids mismatches that slow down H-1B sponsorship decisions, since employers are less likely to initiate filing for tangential or understaffed service lines.
Verify prevailing wage requirements before negotiating
Your H-1B offer must meet the DOL prevailing wage for your role and work location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up wage levels for your specialty and county before your offer conversation, so you can negotiate from an informed baseline and avoid offers that won't clear the Labor Condition Application.
Ask Vituity's recruiter about entity-level filing structure
Vituity places physicians across hospital client sites through its partnership model, meaning your H-1B may be filed under a specific regional entity rather than the parent company. Clarify early which legal entity will be your petitioner, since that affects the LCA location and employer of record on your I-129.
Track your H-1B registration window and cap status
If you're not already on an H-1B or a cap-exempt status, Vituity must register you during USCIS's annual lottery window, typically in March. Missing that window means waiting another year, so confirm your status and cap eligibility with your contact well before February of the filing year.
Use Migrate Mate to identify Vituity's filing history by role
Before applying, search Vituity's verified H-1B filing history on Migrate Mate by occupation and location. This shows which roles and states Vituity has actively sponsored, letting you target the specific service lines and geographies where sponsorship is most likely to move forward quickly.
Vituity H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Vituity sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Vituity sponsors H-1B visas for physicians and advanced practice providers across its acute care service lines. Sponsorship is typically initiated after a conditional offer and is tied to a specific clinical role and location. Physicians in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and critical care are among those most commonly sponsored.
Which roles at Vituity are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Vituity is concentrated in clinical roles requiring specialty training, including emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, intensivists, and advanced practice providers. Administrative or non-clinical roles are not typically sponsored. Your specialty should match an active Vituity service line and an open position at a staffed facility to move forward.
How do I start the H-1B application process at Vituity?
The process begins with a conditional offer of employment. Vituity's credentialing and HR teams work with immigration counsel to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, then submit the I-129 petition to USCIS. You'll need to provide your degree credentials, CV, medical license, and any prior immigration documents. Timeline depends on whether premium processing is used.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at Vituity?
Standard H-1B processing through USCIS typically runs several months after the petition is filed. Premium processing, which USCIS adjudicates within 15 business days, is available for an additional fee and is common in physician hiring where start dates are time-sensitive. Factor in the LCA certification period with DOL before the I-129 can be submitted.
How do I find Vituity H-1B jobs as an international applicant?
Use Migrate Mate to search Vituity's verified H-1B sponsorship history by specialty and state, so you can target service lines where sponsorship has actually been filed. Apply directly through Vituity's careers page and note your H-1B status in your initial outreach so recruiters can route you to roles where sponsorship is available and expected.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Vituity?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
