How to Get Visa Sponsorship in WSB H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles that match H-1B specialty occupation criteria
WSB's H-1B sponsorships concentrate in specialized consulting and technical roles that require a specific degree field. Focus your applications on positions where your academic background directly aligns with the job's core responsibilities.
Raise sponsorship early in the process
Consulting firms assess H-1B feasibility during initial screening. Mention your visa status in your first conversation so WSB's recruiting team can confirm sponsorship availability for that specific role before you invest time interviewing.
Demonstrate domain expertise relevant to WSB's consulting practice
WSB sponsors roles where specialized knowledge is non-negotiable. Arrive at interviews prepared to show depth in your field, since specialty occupation strength directly supports the H-1B petition WSB's immigration counsel will file on your behalf.
Search for open roles through verified sponsorship platforms
Not every WSB posting will specify visa sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify WSB openings where H-1B support is confirmed before you apply.
Connect with WSB employees who transferred from OPT to H-1B
Professionals already at WSB who navigated the OPT-to-H-1B transition can share how the firm manages the process internally. Their experience offers insight into which teams are most active with sponsorship and how WSB's HR coordinates with immigration counsel.

Does WSB sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, WSB sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying positions in its consulting and professional services practice. Sponsorship is generally available for specialized roles where the job requires a degree in a specific field. Availability can vary by team and hiring cycle, so confirming sponsorship during the recruitment process is recommended.
Which roles and departments at WSB typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at WSB tends to concentrate in technical, analytical, and advisory roles within its core consulting service areas. Positions requiring specialized engineering, environmental, transportation, or planning expertise are among those most commonly associated with sponsorship, as they align with the specialty occupation standard H-1B petitions require.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at WSB?
Once WSB extends an offer to a sponsored candidate, the firm works with immigration counsel to prepare and file the H-1B petition. You'll provide employment history, educational credentials, and personal documentation. WSB's HR team coordinates the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor before the petition is submitted to USCIS.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing an H-1B role at WSB?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March with an October 1 start date if selected. If you're on OPT, confirm your expiration date early so WSB can assess whether a cap-gap extension or OPT extension applies. Starting conversations with WSB recruiters well before the registration window gives both sides adequate time to plan.
How do I find H-1B jobs at WSB that are open to international candidates?
Job postings don't always flag H-1B sponsorship clearly, which makes it difficult to know which roles are genuinely available to international candidates. Migrate Mate aggregates verified sponsorship data so you can identify WSB openings with a real history of H-1B support, saving you from applying to roles where sponsorship is unlikely.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at WSB?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
