Align your credentials to distribution operations
HD Supply's Logistics roles sit inside an industrial distribution environment, not a tech startup. Credentials in supply chain management, warehouse operations, or transportation logistics carry more weight here than general business degrees.
Target roles that match specialty occupation standards
For H-1B eligibility, your Logistics role needs to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Focus on analyst, engineer, or coordinator titles that explicitly require a relevant bachelor's degree, not generalist operations roles.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Logistics roles by sponsorship
HD Supply posts Logistics openings across distribution centers and corporate functions. Use Migrate Mate to surface only the roles where sponsorship is confirmed, so you're not applying blind to positions that won't support your visa type.
Confirm OPT STEM eligibility before applying
F-1 OPT is an option HD Supply has used for Logistics hires, but STEM OPT extension requires your degree to fall under an approved STEM classification. Supply chain and logistics engineering programs often qualify. Verify your CIP code with your DSO before relying on a 36-month window.
Clarify sponsorship intent during the offer stage
Before signing an offer, confirm in writing which visa category HD Supply will file under and whether they use premium processing. For H-1B cap-subject cases, your window to file opens April 1 for an October 1 start, so timing the offer matters.

Find Logistics at HD Supply JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does HD Supply sponsor H-1B visas for Logistics roles?
Yes, HD Supply sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Logistics positions. To be eligible, the role must meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria, which means it needs to require a relevant bachelor's degree as a standard entry requirement. Logistics analyst, supply chain engineer, and similar roles tend to meet that bar. Generalist warehouse or operations roles typically do not qualify.
How do I apply for Logistics jobs at HD Supply?
Applications go through HD Supply's careers portal. To narrow your search to roles that support visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to browse HD Supply's open Logistics positions with sponsorship filters already applied. Before applying, review the job description closely to confirm the role requires a degree in a relevant field, which is the foundation of any H-1B or Green Card sponsorship case.
Which visa types does HD Supply commonly use for Logistics hires?
HD Supply has sponsored H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for Logistics roles. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations like engineers or accountants. F-1 OPT and CPT are used for students in eligible programs. H-1B is the most common path for longer-term sponsorship in specialty occupation roles.
What qualifications does HD Supply look for in Logistics candidates seeking sponsorship?
HD Supply's sponsored Logistics roles generally require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, logistics, or a closely related field. For H-1B purposes, USCIS requires the degree to be directly tied to the job duties, so a degree in business administration alone may not be sufficient. Relevant internship experience in distribution or warehouse environments strengthens your application.
How long does the sponsorship process take for Logistics roles at HD Supply?
For H-1B cap-subject cases, the process runs on a fixed government calendar: registration opens in March, the lottery runs in April, and work authorization begins October 1. USCIS standard processing runs three to five months, though premium processing can reduce that to 15 business days. Green Card sponsorship through PERM adds a separate DOL stage that typically takes six to twelve months before USCIS filing.
