Align your credentials to MRO sourcing
HD Supply operates in maintenance, repair, and operations distribution, so framing your procurement experience around supplier negotiation, inventory management, or industrial category sourcing signals a direct fit before you apply.
Target roles requiring supply chain credentials
Procurement roles at HD Supply increasingly favor candidates with CPSM or CPIM certifications. Holding one before you reach the offer stage signals technical depth that makes the sponsorship conversation easier for the hiring team.
Search active openings through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter HD Supply's open Procurement roles by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you're only applying to positions where your work authorization situation is already a known fit rather than a late-stage conversation.
Understand how TN status applies here
Canadian and Mexican nationals with economics, business, or engineering degrees may qualify for TN status in a Procurement analyst role. TN doesn't require an employer petition filed months in advance, which can simplify the offer-to-start timeline significantly.

Find Procurement at HD Supply JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does HD Supply sponsor H-1B visas for Procurement roles?
Yes, HD Supply has a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas for Procurement professionals. Sponsorship decisions are made on a role-by-role basis, so it's worth confirming with the recruiter during early-stage conversations. Given H-1B cap filing deadlines in March for an October 1 start date, timing your application to align with HD Supply's hiring cycles matters.
Which visa types are commonly used for Procurement roles at HD Supply?
HD Supply sponsors H-1B visas for specialty occupation roles, including Procurement analysts and sourcing managers. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business roles, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term hires.
What qualifications does HD Supply expect for Procurement positions?
Most Procurement roles at HD Supply require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field. Experience with supplier negotiation, contract management, or category sourcing in a distribution or industrial environment is valued. For H-1B sponsorship, the role needs to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning the degree requirement must be directly tied to the position's duties.
How do I apply for Procurement jobs at HD Supply?
You can browse open Procurement roles on HD Supply's careers page or use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for HD Supply positions that support visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight MRO distribution, supplier management, or sourcing experience. Flag your visa status clearly in recruiter outreach so sponsorship eligibility is addressed before the final interview stage.
How do I plan my timeline if HD Supply is sponsoring my H-1B?
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed in early April for an October 1 start date. If you're on OPT, your employer can request a cap-gap extension to bridge the gap. Plan to have your offer finalized and the Labor Condition Application certified through DOL before USCIS opens the registration window, which typically runs in mid-March.
