Get your state PTA license first
HealthPRO Heritage operates across multiple states, each with its own PTA licensure requirements. Passing the NPTE and securing a license in your target state before applying signals you're work-ready and removes a major barrier employers weigh heavily in sponsorship decisions.
Target HealthPRO Heritage's SNF postings
HealthPRO Heritage staffs skilled nursing facilities far more heavily than outpatient clinics. Focusing your applications on SNF-based openings aligns with where the company concentrates its hiring, improving your odds of landing a role where sponsorship has precedent.
Understand EB-3 PERM before your offer
Physical Therapist Assistants typically qualify under EB-3, which requires DOL PERM labor certification. This process can take one to two years before USCIS even reviews your petition, so ask recruiters explicitly about their PERM timeline and whether they use in-house or outside immigration counsel.
Verify your credential evaluation matches LCA requirements
Before HealthPRO Heritage can file a Labor Condition Application with DOL, your foreign PTA education must be evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. associate degree. Use NACES-member evaluators and confirm the evaluation explicitly states educational equivalency, not just a credential summary.
Use Migrate Mate to find open HealthPRO Heritage roles
Sponsored PTA openings aren't always labeled clearly on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter Physical Therapist Assistant roles at HealthPRO Heritage by sponsorship type, so you're only spending time on positions where Green Card pathways are actively supported.
Negotiate your start date around PERM advertising
DOL requires employers to complete a mandatory recruitment period before filing PERM. If HealthPRO Heritage hasn't started that process, your actual work start date could follow your offer by many months. Confirm where they are in the PERM cycle when you receive an offer letter.

Find Physical Therapist Assistant at HealthPRO Heritage JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does HealthPRO Heritage sponsor H-1B visas for Physical Therapist Assistants?
H-1B sponsorship for Physical Therapist Assistants is uncommon because PTAs typically require only an associate degree, and the H-1B is reserved for specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree. HealthPRO Heritage's sponsorship activity for this role has been through employment-based immigrant visa pathways, specifically EB-2 or EB-3, rather than the H-1B program.
Which visa types are commonly used for Physical Therapist Assistant roles at HealthPRO Heritage?
EB-3 is the most common pathway for PTAs because the role classifies as a skilled worker under that category. EB-2 is possible in limited cases where a candidate holds advanced qualifications. Both require DOL PERM labor certification before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition, and processing timelines depend significantly on your country of birth and current visa priority dates.
How do I apply for Physical Therapist Assistant jobs at HealthPRO Heritage?
You can browse and apply for Physical Therapist Assistant positions at HealthPRO Heritage directly through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by sponsorship eligibility so you're not wasting applications on positions that won't support your visa situation. When applying, highlight your state licensure status, clinical setting experience, and any PERM-related documentation you've already prepared.
What qualifications does HealthPRO Heritage expect from Physical Therapist Assistant candidates seeking sponsorship?
HealthPRO Heritage expects candidates to hold an accredited PTA degree, pass the NPTE, and obtain licensure in the state where the role is located. For sponsorship specifically, you'll also need a NACES-approved foreign credential evaluation confirming your education is equivalent to a U.S. associate degree, since DOL requires this documentation before a Labor Condition Application can be filed.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Physical Therapist Assistant at HealthPRO Heritage?
From offer to work authorization, the EB-3 PERM process alone typically takes 12 to 24 months before USCIS even begins reviewing your I-140 petition. Total timelines vary significantly based on your country of birth, with applicants from India or China facing longer waits due to visa backlogs. Confirm with HealthPRO Heritage's immigration team early so you can plan accordingly.
