Confirm your CCC credential before applying
ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence is non-negotiable for HealthPRO Heritage roles. If you're on your Clinical Fellowship Year, flag that clearly in your application. Employers in contract therapy prioritize candidates who can bill independently from day one.
Target HealthPRO Heritage's SNF-heavy openings
Most of their Speech Pathologist positions sit inside skilled nursing facilities, not hospital systems. Tailor your resume to highlight dysphagia management and instrumental swallowing assessments, which are core competencies for that setting and often what hiring managers screen for first.
Ask recruiters directly about the EB-3 PERM timeline
HealthPRO Heritage's sponsorship pathway runs through the EB-2 or EB-3 green card process, which requires DOL-supervised PERM labor certification before USCIS can adjudicate your petition. Ask your recruiter at the offer stage how many months into employment the company typically initiates PERM filing.
Negotiate your employment contract around sponsorship terms
Contract therapy companies sometimes include repayment clauses tied to sponsorship costs if you leave before a set period. Review any agreement with an immigration attorney before signing. The PERM and I-140 stages together can take well over a year, so understanding your obligations early matters.
Browse open Speech Pathologist roles through Migrate Mate
HealthPRO Heritage posts positions across dozens of states simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to filter for their current Speech Pathologist openings, sorted by location and sponsorship eligibility, so you're applying to active roles rather than outdated listings.
Verify your state license covers the facility type
Speech Pathology licensure requirements differ by state, and some states have separate endorsement steps for SLPs working in healthcare facilities versus schools. Before accepting a placement, confirm your license is active and unrestricted in that specific state. HealthPRO Heritage operates across most of the continental U.S.

Does HealthPRO Heritage sponsor H-1B visas for Speech Pathologists?
HealthPRO Heritage's primary sponsorship pathway for Speech Pathologists runs through the EB-2 and EB-3 green card categories rather than the H-1B. The H-1B requires winning an annual lottery and has a hard cap, making it an unpredictable route. Employer-sponsored permanent residency through PERM labor certification is a more stable and consistent option for healthcare roles like Speech Pathology.
Which visa types are commonly used for Speech Pathologist roles at HealthPRO Heritage?
HealthPRO Heritage sponsors Speech Pathologists through the EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories. EB-3 is the most common route for allied health professionals and requires DOL-approved PERM labor certification followed by an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS. EB-2 is available if you hold an advanced degree or can demonstrate exceptional ability in speech-language pathology.
What qualifications does HealthPRO Heritage expect from Speech Pathologist candidates seeking sponsorship?
At minimum, you'll need a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), and an active, unrestricted state license in the state where the position is located. Clinical experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings strengthens your application significantly, as most of their placements are in post-acute care environments.
How do I apply for Speech Pathologist jobs at HealthPRO Heritage?
HealthPRO Heritage lists Speech Pathologist openings directly on their website and through job aggregators, but positions are spread across many states and turnover is frequent. The most efficient approach is to browse their current openings on Migrate Mate, which filters for sponsorship-eligible roles and keeps listings current. Apply directly to location-specific postings and contact a HealthPRO Heritage recruiter to discuss sponsorship intent before your first interview.
How do I understand the timeline from hire to Green Card approval at HealthPRO Heritage?
The process typically unfolds in stages: PERM labor certification with the DOL can take 12 to 18 months or longer, followed by USCIS adjudication of your I-140 petition. If your priority date is current, you can then file for adjustment of status or consular processing. Ask your employer at the offer stage when they plan to initiate PERM, since that date sets your priority date clock.
