Verify your ASHA certification before applying
HealthPRO Heritage requires the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA. International candidates should confirm their CCC-SLP is active before outreach, as this credential is a non-negotiable prerequisite for any sponsorship conversation.
Target HealthPRO Heritage's contract staffing division
A significant share of HealthPRO Heritage SLP openings are in skilled nursing and rehab contract settings. These roles often have faster hiring cycles than permanent hospital positions, which can work in your favor when you're working against a visa or OPT deadline.
Ask HR directly about EB-3 sponsorship timelines
HealthPRO Heritage has sponsored SLPs through employment-based Green Card pathways. When you receive an offer, ask the recruiter which Green Card category applies to your role and whether the PERM labor certification process has already been initiated for similar positions.
Search HealthPRO Heritage SLP roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter HealthPRO Heritage Speech Language Pathologist openings by visa sponsorship eligibility. This helps you identify which specific postings are tied to active sponsorship rather than sifting through listings that may not apply to your immigration situation.
Prepare state licensure documentation early
SLP licensure requirements vary by state, and HealthPRO Heritage operates across many states. Start your state licensure application as soon as you know a target location, since processing delays can stall your USCIS filing timeline if your license isn't in hand.
Clarify your work authorization status during the offer stage
Before signing, confirm in writing whether the sponsorship covers H-1B status change, EB-2, or EB-3, and who covers USCIS filing fees. HealthPRO Heritage recruiters handle high volume, so specificity at the offer stage prevents misaligned expectations once the I-140 process begins.

Does HealthPRO Heritage sponsor H-1B visas for Speech Language Pathologists?
HealthPRO Heritage primarily sponsors Speech Language Pathologists through employment-based Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3, rather than H-1B. If you're currently on H-1B status and seeking a transfer, raise this directly with their recruiting team, as some locations may accommodate H-1B transfers depending on the role and timing.
Which visa types does HealthPRO Heritage commonly use for Speech Language Pathologist sponsorship?
HealthPRO Heritage has sponsored SLPs through EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card categories. The EB-3 path is common for SLP roles in skilled nursing and rehab settings and requires a PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate the I-140 immigrant petition. Processing timelines vary by your country of birth.
What qualifications does HealthPRO Heritage expect for Speech Language Pathologist roles?
You'll need a master's degree in speech-language pathology, an active CCC-SLP from ASHA, and a valid state license in the state where you'll practice. HealthPRO Heritage also values experience in post-acute settings such as skilled nursing facilities or inpatient rehab. Clinical Fellows completing their CFY may be considered, but confirmed sponsorship typically applies to fully licensed candidates.
How do I apply for Speech Language Pathologist jobs at HealthPRO Heritage?
You can browse and apply for HealthPRO Heritage Speech Language Pathologist openings directly through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility. Once you've identified a relevant posting, apply through the listing and follow up with HealthPRO Heritage's talent acquisition team to confirm sponsorship availability for your specific location and immigration status before the interview stage.
How do I understand the timeline for Green Card sponsorship through HealthPRO Heritage?
The EB-3 process for SLPs typically involves three stages: PERM labor certification with the DOL, I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS, and adjustment of status or consular processing. End-to-end timelines commonly range from two to four years depending on your country of birth, priority date movement, and whether premium processing is used for the I-140.
