Verify Your CCC Credential Before Applying
BAYADA requires SLPs to hold or be eligible for ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence. Confirm your CCC status before submitting applications, because BAYADA's credentialing team will request it early in the hiring process and delays here slow visa filing.
Target BAYADA's Pediatric and Home Health Openings
BAYADA staffs SLPs across pediatric therapy and adult home health caseloads. Roles tied to specific patient populations are more consistently available and tend to move faster through the offer stage, which matters when you're managing OPT or TN timelines.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope During Your Offer Conversation
Ask directly whether BAYADA will sponsor the specific visa you need, H-1B or TN, before accepting an offer. Home health employers sometimes sponsor selectively by role type or region, so confirming scope early prevents surprises after you've cleared clinical interviews.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Verified BAYADA SLP Openings
Filter for Speech Language Pathologist roles at BAYADA by visa type on Migrate Mate to surface only the positions where sponsorship is confirmed, so you're not wasting applications on listings that won't support your authorization.
Align Your Start Date to H-1B Cap Deadlines
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in March each year for an October 1 start. Work backward from that date when negotiating your offer with BAYADA so your employment start aligns with cap-subject petition filing windows.
Gather State Licensure Documents Before BAYADA Files Your LCA
DOL requires a certified Labor Condition Application before USCIS can accept your H-1B petition. BAYADA will need your state SLP license or proof of eligibility to complete the LCA, so have those documents ready when you move into the offer stage.

What qualifications does BAYADA Home Health Care expect for Speech Language Pathologist positions?
BAYADA typically requires a master's degree in speech-language pathology, ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility for it, and an active state license in the state where you'll work.
