Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour and up based on experience

Make a meaningful difference in someone's life as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with BAYADA Home Health Care. In this rewarding role, you'll work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build independence, participate in their community, and achieve their personal goals. As a DSP, you will support individuals as they engage in community activities, develop life skills, build social connections, and enjoy meaningful experiences that promote independence and inclusion. Locations: Hilo, Keaau, Mt View, Pepeekeo, Ocean View, Hawi, Kealakekua

Type: Part-Time, Weekdays & Weekends

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
• Participate in community integration activities, errands, and appointments.
• Patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow.
• Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our clinical managers.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.

• Weekly Pay

Qualifications

• One year experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to transport clients to community activities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• The ability to read and write in English.
