Frame your PM credentials around travel tech
Hopper operates at the intersection of hospitality and consumer technology. Tailor your resume to highlight product roadmaps, OKR-driven delivery, or cross-functional launches in travel, airline, or hotel-adjacent industries before you apply.
Verify Hopper's LCA filings on FLAG
The DOL's FLAG system publishes certified Labor Condition Applications by employer and job title. Searching for Hopper's Program Manager LCAs tells you which office locations have active filings and what prevailing wage tiers the company uses for this role.
Target roles that list specific product verticals
Hopper posts Program Manager openings tied to specific products, such as Hopper Cloud or its fintech features. Applying to a role with a defined scope rather than a generic listing signals a real, funded headcount and a more predictable sponsorship timeline.
Clarify H-1B cap status early in interviews
If you've already been counted against the H-1B cap at a prior employer, you're cap-exempt and Hopper can file for you outside the April lottery window. Raise this in the recruiter screen so the hiring team understands your timeline doesn't depend on lottery selection.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Program Manager roles
Hopper's open Program Manager positions span multiple verticals and posting cycles. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Hopper roles that support H-1B or Green Card sponsorship, so you're not wasting time on listings that exclude international candidates.
Align your start date to USCIS processing realities
H-1B petitions have an October 1 start date for new cap-subject beneficiaries. If you receive an offer in summer, negotiate a conditional start that accounts for USCIS adjudication, and ask whether Hopper uses premium processing to reduce uncertainty around approval timing.

Find Program Manager at Hopper JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Hopper sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Hopper sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL and petitions with USCIS for qualifying candidates in this function. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, timing your application around the April lottery window is essential. Cap-exempt candidates, such as those transferring from another H-1B employer, can be filed year-round.
Which visa types are commonly used for Program Manager roles at Hopper?
H-1B is the primary nonimmigrant visa for Program Manager positions at Hopper, given the role's specialty occupation requirements in product management and technology. For longer-term sponsorship, Hopper has supported employment-based Green Card pathways, typically EB-2 or EB-3, which involve PERM labor certification filed through the DOL before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition.
What qualifications or experience does Hopper expect for Program Manager roles?
Hopper's Program Manager postings typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or engineering, along with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional product or operational initiatives. Familiarity with travel technology, consumer apps, or fintech products strengthens your application. For H-1B purposes, your degree must align with the specific duties of the role to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Hopper?
You can browse and apply for Program Manager roles at Hopper through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions that support visa sponsorship. Before applying, review the role's product vertical, since Hopper hires PMs across distinct business units. Tailor your application to the specific scope listed rather than submitting a generic resume across all open postings.
How do I plan my timeline for H-1B sponsorship at Hopper?
If you need a new H-1B, USCIS opens registration in March for the following October 1 start date. Secure your offer well before March so Hopper's legal team can prepare your petition. If you're already on H-1B status with another employer, a transfer can be filed anytime and you can start work once USCIS receives the petition, without waiting for approval.
