Align your credentials to intermodal logistics
Hub Group's supply chain work centers on intermodal and freight brokerage operations. Frame your resume around network optimization, carrier management, or demand planning so your background maps directly to their core business, not generic logistics.
Target roles that bridge operations and data
Hub Group consistently hires supply chain professionals who combine operational knowledge with analytical tools like TMS platforms or Excel-based forecasting. Roles at that intersection tend to attract sponsorship consideration more readily than purely administrative positions.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open positions by visa type
Not every supply chain posting at Hub Group comes with sponsorship attached. Search Migrate Mate to filter Hub Group's open roles by the visa types they've filed for in this function, so you're only applying to positions where sponsorship is realistic.
Start OPT conversations before your authorization runs short
If you're on F-1 OPT, Hub Group needs time to get an LCA certified with the DOL before your status expires. Raise work authorization early in the interview process, not after an offer, so there's room to sequence the filing correctly.
Understand how PERM affects your long-term timeline
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, Hub Group must complete PERM labor certification through the DOL before filing an I-140. That process can take a year or more, so ask hiring managers about the company's history with permanent residence sponsorship for supply chain roles.
Prepare for TN eligibility if you're Canadian or Mexican
Supply chain analyst and logistics management roles can qualify under the TN visa category if your degree is in engineering, management, or a related field. Confirm your specific job title maps to an eligible TN profession before relying on this pathway with Hub Group.

Does Hub Group sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chains?
Yes, Hub Group has a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas for supply chain roles. Sponsorship is most common for positions requiring specialized analytical or operational expertise, such as network planning or logistics systems work. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions are tied to the annual lottery, timing your job search to align with USCIS registration windows in March is important.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at Hub Group?
You can browse and apply for Hub Group's open supply chain positions through their careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can confirm the position is relevant to your situation before applying. Tailor your application to Hub Group's intermodal and freight network operations, and be transparent about your work authorization status early in the process.
Which visa types does Hub Group commonly use for Supply Chain roles?
Hub Group sponsors H-1B visas for specialty occupation roles in supply chain, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for students in logistics or operations programs. TN visas are a viable option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose degree and job title align with eligible TN categories. For longer-term pathways, Hub Group has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for supply chain professionals.
What qualifications does Hub Group look for in Supply Chain candidates needing sponsorship?
Hub Group typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field. Hands-on experience with transportation management systems, intermodal freight, or demand forecasting strengthens your candidacy. For H-1B purposes, your role must qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning a degree in a specific field is a standard requirement for the position.
How do I handle timing if my OPT is expiring while I'm in Hub Group's hiring process?
If your F-1 OPT end date is approaching, disclose your work authorization timeline to the recruiter as early as possible. Hub Group's legal team needs to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and prepare an H-1B petition before your current authorization lapses. STEM OPT extension, if you qualify, gives you up to 24 additional months of work authorization and can provide a buffer while an H-1B is in process.
