Align your credentials to logistics procurement
Hub Group sources for procurement talent with direct supply chain exposure. Certifications like CPSM or CSCMP, combined with experience in freight, carrier contracting, or third-party logistics sourcing, will strengthen your profile before you apply.
Search Hub Group openings through Migrate Mate
Filter for Hub Group procurement roles by visa type on Migrate Mate to see which positions are actively open to sponsored candidates. This saves time you'd otherwise spend screening postings that don't support your visa category.
Target roles with contract and carrier scope
Hub Group's procurement function spans carrier negotiations, vendor management, and freight contract administration. Applying to roles where your experience maps directly to logistics contracts, not just general procurement, increases your chances of clearing initial screening.
Understand the H-1B filing window relative to your start date
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed for an October 1 start date. If Hub Group extends an offer outside that window, confirm whether a cap-exempt pathway or change of status from an existing visa applies to your situation.
Prepare for PERM if pursuing permanent residency
Hub Group has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for procurement roles. PERM labor certification requires DOL to confirm no qualified U.S. workers were displaced, so your employer will run a formal recruitment process before filing. Expect this to take a year or more.

Does Hub Group sponsor H-1B visas for Procurement roles?
Yes, Hub Group has sponsored H-1B visas for Procurement positions. The company operates in transportation and logistics, where specialized sourcing, carrier contract management, and supply chain roles can qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards. If you're applying for a cap-subject H-1B, timing your offer around the April filing window and October 1 start date is essential.
How do I apply for Procurement jobs at Hub Group?
You can search and apply for open Procurement positions directly through Hub Group's careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters Hub Group roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. When applying, tailor your resume to logistics-specific procurement experience, including freight sourcing, supplier negotiations, or third-party logistics vendor management, as these align closely with Hub Group's core operations.
Which visa types does Hub Group commonly sponsor for Procurement roles?
Hub Group sponsors H-1B visas, EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and supports F-1 OPT and CPT candidates. For procurement professionals, TN status can be a faster path if your role qualifies under a USMCA-listed occupation. EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship is available for longer-term candidates pursuing permanent residency through the PERM process.
What qualifications does Hub Group typically look for in Procurement candidates?
Hub Group's procurement roles generally require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field. Hands-on experience in logistics procurement, including carrier sourcing, contract administration, or vendor performance management, is heavily weighted. Familiarity with transportation management systems and freight cost modeling can differentiate your application, particularly for mid-to-senior level roles within their supply chain function.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Procurement role at Hub Group?
Timeline depends on your visa category. F-1 OPT authorization is already in place when you start. An H-1B cap-subject petition requires USCIS registration in March and has an October 1 start date, making the effective wait up to seven months from an offer. TN status can be obtained at the border or port of entry with same-day processing. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship typically takes two or more years from initiation to approval.
