ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technician III, Quality Control – HQC is responsible for ensuring the quality of processes and products in support of all manufacturing areas within Integrated DNA Technologies and upkeeping instrumentation.
This position reports to the Supervisor, is part of High Throughput Quality Control located in Coralville and will be an on-site role. Schedule: Weekend Days
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Analyzes data and information for quality, consistency, and accuracy
- Use and service a variety of analytical and sample handling equipment
- Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting on all instrumentation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 12 months IDT lab experience and proficient in two HQC functions.
- Working knowledge and understanding of HQC value stream
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Lifting up to 50lbs: raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
- Frequent/regular walking: moving about on foot to accomplish tasks throughout shift.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Associate or bachelor's degree, preferred
- Using continuous improvement tools and/or DBS event involvement.
- Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
