Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Mechanical Engineer Jobs at Integrated Power Services Jobs
Align your credentials to industrial service roles
Integrated Power Services focuses on rotating equipment, motors, and power systems repair. Highlight coursework or experience in electromechanical systems, failure analysis, or predictive maintenance so your resume maps directly to their service environment.
Confirm TN eligibility before applying
Canadian and Mexican citizens qualify for TN visas under the Mechanical Engineer category without a lottery. If you hold citizenship in either country, confirm your degree title explicitly reads 'Mechanical Engineering' since DOL scrutinizes TN classification at the border.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
Integrated Power Services posts Mechanical Engineer openings across multiple service locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles at this employer that align with your visa category, so you're targeting positions where sponsorship is actively available.
Document hands-on manufacturing experience precisely
For specialty occupation determinations on H-1B petitions, USCIS looks for a direct link between your degree field and the actual job duties. Quantify field service hours, equipment types serviced, and any repair or remanufacturing projects to strengthen that connection.
Start OPT applications before your program ends
F-1 students should file the OPT EAD application with USCIS up to 90 days before graduation. A late filing compresses your authorized work window, which matters when coordinating a start date with Integrated Power Services' onboarding timeline.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Before signing an offer, confirm whether the company covers H-1B filing fees and whether premium processing is available. Ask specifically about their process for cap-subject H-1B petitions, since lottery registration opens each March for an October 1 start date.

Find Mechanical Engineer at Integrated Power Services JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Integrated Power Services sponsor H-1B visas for Mechanical Engineers?
Yes, Integrated Power Services has sponsored H-1B visas for Mechanical Engineer roles. The company operates in industrial manufacturing and service, which typically supports specialty occupation classification for mechanical engineering positions. If you're targeting an H-1B, confirm during the interview process whether the specific role and location are included in their sponsorship program, as coverage can vary by business unit.
How do I apply for Mechanical Engineer jobs at Integrated Power Services?
You can browse and apply for Mechanical Engineer openings at Integrated Power Services directly through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by employer and visa sponsorship type. Integrated Power Services posts positions across multiple service centers, so search by role title and check for locations that match your preferred geography. Tailor your application to highlight electromechanical systems experience relevant to their repair and remanufacturing work.
Which visa types are commonly used for Mechanical Engineer roles at Integrated Power Services?
Integrated Power Services has sponsored H-1B visas for Mechanical Engineers and also works with F-1 OPT and CPT candidates. Canadian and Mexican nationals may be eligible for TN visas under the Mechanical Engineer classification, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. The right pathway depends on your citizenship, degree, and how your role maps to the specialty occupation or TN engineer category definitions.
What qualifications does Integrated Power Services expect from Mechanical Engineer candidates?
Integrated Power Services typically looks for Mechanical Engineers with backgrounds in rotating machinery, power distribution equipment, or industrial electromechanical systems. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is the baseline. Hands-on experience with motors, transformers, or generator systems is a strong differentiator given the company's core business in repair and remanufacturing. Field service or manufacturing environment experience carries particular weight over pure design or theoretical backgrounds.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Mechanical Engineer role at Integrated Power Services?
Timeline depends on visa type. OPT EAD processing at USCIS typically takes two to three months, so apply early relative to your graduation date. TN status for Canadian citizens can be obtained at a port of entry the same day. H-1B cap-subject petitions follow an annual cycle with lottery registration in March and employment starting October 1 at the earliest. Premium processing, if offered, can reduce USCIS adjudication time to around 15 business days.
