JOB DESCRIPTION
Join JPMorganChase Consumer and Community Banking Controls to build modern, scalable SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions that strengthen our control environment, automate reporting, and elevate collaboration across the business. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders to turn requirements into secure, data-driven dashboards and workflows—leveraging tools like Power Automate/Power Apps, HTML/JavaScript, and Alteryx to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the end-user experience.
Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) is the U.S. consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2.5 trillion and operations worldwide. Chase serves nearly half of America's households with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Customers can choose how and where they want to bank: 5,200 branches, 16,000 ATMs, mobile, online and by phone.
Control Management maintains a strong and consistent control environment through a joint accountability model that aligns managers with each function and region to mitigate operational risk. The team focuses on four areas: Control Design & Expertise, Risks & Controls Identification/Assessment, Issues & Control Deficiencies and Control Governance & Reporting. This position is required to analyze business needs, propose automated reporting solutions to save cost and minimize risk while complying with all of the established controls. Once an agreement is made on the solution to be implemented, you will design and build the solution and perform QC before implementing the solution. Duties may also include generation of regular and special reports and recommendation of changes in methods or procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
This role is part of the Technology and Solutions team within CCB Controls, focusing on SharePoint Solutions. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions to support control functions, drive process efficiency, and enhance collaboration. Job responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and dashboards to support control processes and reporting needs.
- Integrate supplemental applications and tools (such as HTML, JavaScript, Alteryx, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Power Apps) to build solutions and improve business processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver enhancements, and drive operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Implement document management and collaboration features, ensuring compliance with internal control standards and governance policies.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for SharePoint and integrated solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support solution maintenance and ongoing enhancements; conduct solution demos and walkthroughs for end users and requestors.
- Collaborate with technology teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise platforms and tools.
- Diagnose performance issues, analyze data, and develop creative recommendations to address business needs.
- Assure the integrity of data through extraction, transformation, processing, analysis, and reporting.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, statistics, economics or information management.
- Experience in SharePoint development, including designing, developing, and deploying solutions at scale.
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and other web technologies relevant to SharePoint customization.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 software and SharePoint integration.
- Ability to work and resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand business needs, diagnose performance issues, and develop recommendations and creative solutions through data analysis and critical thinking.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to set expectations, manage timelines, and deliver results.
- Detail-oriented, with initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Align your credentials to JPMorganChase's frameworks
JPMorganChase Project Analyst roles frequently require demonstrated experience with structured project delivery. Certifications like PMP or Agile credentials, combined with finance or technology coursework, signal readiness for the firm's internal project governance standards before you apply.
Target line-of-business postings not just corporate roles
JPMorganChase hires Project Analysts across distinct divisions including Corporate and Investment Banking, Asset and Wealth Management, and Consumer Banking. Each line of business files independently, so a rejection in one division does not close the door in another.
Understand how JPMorganChase structures H-1B timing
For cap-subject H-1B candidates, USCIS registration opens each March for an October 1 start. JPMorganChase typically coordinates offers and I-129 filings well in advance, so engaging your recruiter about visa timelines early in the offer stage is essential.
Clarify E-3 eligibility before the offer stage
If you hold Australian citizenship, the E-3 visa is available outside the H-1B lottery. JPMorganChase has sponsored E-3 candidates for analyst roles, and the process moves faster. Raise your nationality early with the recruiter so the right visa track is initiated from the start.
Prepare for the PERM labor certification timeline
JPMorganChase sponsors Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 categories, which require DOL PERM certification. This process can take 12 to 24 months before USCIS even sees the petition, so negotiate sponsorship commitments in writing before signing an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open roles efficiently
Project Analyst openings at JPMorganChase turn over frequently across divisions. Use Migrate Mate to filter for roles where the firm has a confirmed sponsorship track record, so you spend time on applications most likely to lead to a visa-sponsored offer.

Find Project Analyst at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Project Analysts?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Project Analyst roles. The firm participates in the annual H-1B cap registration process each March and has a well-established internal immigration team that manages filings across its business divisions. If you are on OPT or another status, raise the sponsorship question directly with your recruiter once an offer is in discussion.
How do I apply for Project Analyst jobs at JPMorganChase?
Applications go through JPMorganChase's careers portal, where roles are listed by line of business and location. You can also browse open Project Analyst positions on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles from employers with confirmed visa sponsorship histories. Tailor your resume to the specific division you are targeting, as hiring teams operate independently across the firm.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly sponsor for Project Analysts?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Project Analyst roles at the nonimmigrant level, along with immigrant pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship. H-1B1 applies to candidates from Chile and Singapore, while E-3 is exclusive to Australian citizens. The appropriate category depends on your nationality and where you are in the immigration process.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Project Analyst roles?
Most Project Analyst positions at JPMorganChase require a bachelor's degree in finance, business, computer science, or a related field. Practical experience with project management methodologies, data tools like SQL or Tableau, and cross-functional coordination is commonly expected. For specialty occupation visa purposes under H-1B, the role must require at minimum a bachelor's degree in a specific field, which this position typically meets.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take at JPMorganChase?
For H-1B cap-subject candidates, the full timeline runs from March registration to an October 1 start date, roughly seven months. E-3 and H-1B1 categories bypass the lottery and can be processed in four to eight weeks with consular processing. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship, if offered, adds 18 months or more before reaching USCIS adjudication. Confirm timelines with your assigned immigration contact once an offer is extended.
