Responsibilities:
- Installs and configures servers, workstations, printers, routers, switches, security, firewall and other software/hardware systems
- Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network issues
- Perform network upgrades necessary to support users and applications used by the District
- Create and configure user network and email accounts
- Performs analysis and make recommendations regarding network infrastructure maintenance, security, growth, and efficiency
- Performs site capacity analysis to ensure functionality, stability and connectivity for system applications
- Assist in submitting information for budgets and monitoring expenses as relates to technology systems
- Manages the implementation of system applications and software
- Provides information relevant to Board policies on staff and student acceptable use of the network as requested
- Provides phone system support for all district communication lines
- Provide technical assistance and training to users and other team members
- Coordinate installation of technology systems, hardware and software
- Complete network related work requests in a timely manner and document resolutions
- Oversee third-party vendors contracted to work on network infrastructure
- Research and present IT related recommendations and procedures to Director of Technology and/or Technology Department
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of network hardware/software
