Align your credentials to Kerry's specialties
Kerry focuses on taste and nutrition technologies, so manufacturing candidates with backgrounds in food science, chemical engineering, or process optimization carry more weight. Frame your resume around food-grade production environments, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
Target sites with active production roles
Kerry operates multiple U.S. manufacturing and R&D production facilities. Search by location on their careers page to identify sites actively hiring, since sponsorship decisions often originate at the site level where headcount and budget are controlled.
Clarify your visa category before applying
Kerry sponsors several visa types for manufacturing roles, including H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT. Knowing which category fits your nationality and degree lets you signal eligibility clearly in your application and avoids delays during early recruiter screening.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring manufacturers
Finding food and beverage manufacturers that actively sponsor is harder than it sounds. Use Migrate Mate to filter open Manufacturing roles at Kerry and similar companies by visa type, so you're applying where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than guessing.
Prepare for PERM documentation early for permanent roles
If Kerry pursues an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card for your manufacturing position, DOL's PERM process requires detailed documentation of your qualifications and the job requirements. Gather transcripts, experience letters, and any professional certifications before the process begins.

Find Manufacturing at Kerry JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Kerry sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Yes, Kerry sponsors H-1B visas for Manufacturing positions, particularly for roles requiring specialized degrees in food science, chemical engineering, or related fields that meet USCIS specialty occupation standards. Because H-1B is cap-subject with an annual lottery, timing your application cycle correctly matters. Kerry also sponsors E-3 visas for Australian nationals and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican citizens, which bypass the lottery entirely.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Kerry?
Apply directly through Kerry's careers portal and filter by function and U.S. location. Tailor your application to highlight food-grade manufacturing experience, GMP compliance, and any relevant process improvement credentials. You can also browse verified open Manufacturing roles at Kerry on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions where visa sponsorship is available, saving you time during the search.
Which visa types does Kerry commonly use for Manufacturing positions?
Kerry sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visas for Manufacturing roles. For new graduates, F-1 OPT or CPT are typical starting points. E-3 is available to Australian citizens and has no lottery, making it a practical alternative to H-1B for eligible candidates. EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship generally applies to longer-tenured employees pursuing permanent residence.
What qualifications does Kerry look for in sponsored Manufacturing candidates?
Kerry typically hires manufacturing candidates with degrees in food science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering. Hands-on experience with food-grade production, quality systems like HACCP or SQF, and process improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma strengthens your application significantly. For visa sponsorship to apply, USCIS generally requires the role to demand at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field, so generalist profiles are harder to sponsor.
How long does Kerry's visa sponsorship process take for Manufacturing hires?
Timeline depends on visa type. TN and E-3 visas can be processed within a few weeks. H-1B requires filing in March with a cap start date of October 1, meaning a gap of several months between offer and start. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 typically takes one to three years or longer depending on your country of birth and DOL processing times. Confirm the intended pathway with Kerry's HR team before accepting an offer.
