Align your credentials with food manufacturing standards
Kerry's operations roles frequently require familiarity with food safety frameworks like HACCP, SQF, or GMP. Document any certifications or site-level compliance experience on your resume before applying, since hiring managers screen for these early.
Target roles tied to Kerry's ingredient and flavors divisions
Kerry's core U.S. operations footprint is in food ingredients and taste technology. Focusing your search on facilities in these segments puts you in front of teams that regularly hire internationally and have established sponsorship workflows.
Browse Kerry's open Operations roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Kerry's Operations listings by visa type so you can see which roles are actively open to sponsored candidates, saving time you'd otherwise spend vetting postings one by one.
Raise sponsorship early in recruiter conversations
Kerry's talent acquisition team handles sponsorship through its HR function, not individual hiring managers. Asking directly about visa support in the first recruiter call prevents late-stage surprises and confirms the role has budget for an H-1B or E-3 filing.
Understand how LCA prevailing wage affects your offer
Before signing an offer, verify that your base salary meets the DOL prevailing wage for the specific job title and work location. Operations roles at manufacturing sites in different states carry different wage thresholds, and your H-1B approval depends on compliance.
Plan around H-1B cap timing if you're on OPT
If you're working under F-1 OPT, your employer must file your H-1B petition in April for an October 1 start. For operations roles that begin mid-year, you and Kerry will need to coordinate so your OPT authorization bridges the gap without a work authorization lapse.

Find Operations at Kerry JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Kerry sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, Kerry sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Operations positions. Sponsorship is more common for technical and process-focused roles, such as process engineers, quality operations managers, and continuous improvement specialists, where a relevant bachelor's degree is a standard requirement. The position must qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS criteria, so generalist or entry-level production roles may not always be eligible.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Kerry?
You can apply directly through Kerry's careers portal or find sponsored Operations openings filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight food manufacturing experience, relevant certifications like HACCP or Lean Six Sigma, and any prior U.S. work authorization history. Recruiters at Kerry typically conduct an initial screening call before routing candidates to hiring managers at specific facilities.
Which visa types does Kerry commonly use for Operations roles?
Kerry has sponsored Operations candidates on H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and is often a faster path than H-1B for eligible candidates. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying professional categories. The right visa depends on your nationality, education, and the specific role's requirements.
What qualifications does Kerry expect for sponsored Operations positions?
Most sponsored Operations roles at Kerry require at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, supply chain, or a related technical field. Hands-on experience in food or beverage manufacturing environments is strongly preferred. Familiarity with food safety regulations, lean manufacturing principles, and ERP systems like SAP strengthens your application. Roles at the manager level typically expect several years of direct operations leadership experience in an FDA-regulated or SQF-certified facility.
How long does the sponsorship and visa process take for Kerry Operations hires?
For H-1B, the standard timeline from petition filing to work authorization is roughly six months if filed under regular processing, or two to three weeks with USCIS premium processing for an additional fee. E-3 visas for Australians can move faster since they're consular processed and not subject to an annual lottery. Kerry typically initiates the Labor Condition Application with DOL several weeks before filing the visa petition, so factor that into your expected start date.
