About the Role:
Our Sales Associates are product and sales experts who work to tell the story behind our iconic products. Design Within Reach (DWR) Outlets sells furniture, lighting, rugs, and accessories. We offer a wide range of products for living, dining, bedroom, and outdoor areas. DWR is known for its focus on authentic and iconic designs.
As a Sales Associate you will sell over 200 premium modern design brands in one place. DWR Outlet Sales Associates build their sales and business through working with new and existing customers, outreach, and interactions from the store's social media and web traffic. Sales Associates report to the General Manager.
What you’ll do:
- Sell over 200 premium modern design brands
- Maximize sales to exceed requirements and dive orders to hit sales targets
- Utilize social media, outreach, walk-in traffic and client data to increase sales.
- Maintain the store's design and visual standards.
- Facilitate the Design Within Reach client experience in store.
- Drive engagement by providing excellent client experiences.
- Attending store meetings, product trainings, and utilizing the Design Within Reach website and catalog to increase product and design knowledge as well as industry awareness.
What We're Looking For:
- Background in retail sales or customer success preferred.
- Ability to identify client needs, problem solve, communicate with internal and external parties both verbally and in writing explaining product features and benefits.
- Experience with a POS system and proficiency with MS Office software, web navigation preferred.
- Able to routinely move objects weighing over 20 pounds and to understand safety requirements
