Target seasonal hiring windows early
Landtech Contractors hires primarily for seasonal work through H-2B sponsorship. Applications and employer petitions follow strict federal timelines, so reaching out well before peak grounds maintenance season significantly improves your chances of being considered.
Understand how H-2B sponsorship actually works
H-2B is employer-driven, Landtech initiates the process, not you. Before applying, familiarize yourself with the H-2B requirements so you can speak confidently about eligibility, your home country ties, and your intent to return after the work period ends.
Focus your application on outdoor and facilities roles
Landtech operates in Facilities and Property Services, meaning sponsored roles center on landscaping, groundskeeping, and property maintenance. Tailor your resume and outreach to highlight hands-on experience in these areas rather than general labor skills.
Verify Landtech's sponsorship history before applying
Landtech has a strong track record as an H-2B sponsor. Use Migrate Mate to filter by real sponsorship history and confirm Landtech's active status before investing time in the application, it surfaces verified sponsors so you're not guessing.
Be prepared to demonstrate nonimmigrant intent
H-2B visa interviews require you to show strong ties to your home country and a clear intention to return after the work period. Prepare specific, honest answers about your home situation, family, and plans after the seasonal contract ends.
Build a direct relationship with the hiring team
Because H-2B sponsorship requires employer-initiated petitions, making direct contact with Landtech's operations or HR team early in the season shows initiative and keeps you top of mind when they begin the federal petition process for new workers.
