About us
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale. With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we're at a stage where we're continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world. Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
About The Role
Cloud providers and Systems Integrators help LangChain reach customers that our direct sales and customer engineering teams can't reach on their own. This role is the technical foundation behind that ecosystem. You'll build the reference architectures, integration patterns, and enablement programs that make partner motions work technically: co-sell with cloud hyperscalers, and independent delivery capability at systems integrators and global systems integrators (GSIs). You build with and for a partner, whose technical team then takes what you built to dozens of their own clients.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Partner Engineering (Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
- Build reference architectures and integration patterns that support the technical side of co-sell, from marketplace listings to joint solution briefs
- Partner with cloud field and partner teams on solutioning for named accounts.
- Keep our marketplace presence and co-sell technical assets current as LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith evolve
Systems Integrator and GSI Enablement
- Build and run LangChain's services partner enablement program from the ground up, including tiered certification tracks, hands-on workshops, delivery playbooks, and implementation guides based on our agent development lifecycle (ADLC) framework
- Run LangChain's partner certification program in the region: deliver certification workshops, review certification projects, and guide partner engineers through the program.
- Work with SI centers of excellence (CoEs) to develop repeatable joint solutions and reference architectures, so an SI's own teams can scope, build, and deploy agentic AI independently instead of pulling in LangChain engineering for every deal
- Act as a technical evangelist in the field: work directly with an SI's client account teams to make the technical case for LangChain on a specific engagement, which is a different motion than the strategic work you do with a CoE
- Build and maintain joint business plans with strategic services partners, translating account and industry priorities into a shared technical roadmap and a concrete set of reference assets
- Help SI teams grow from an individual technical champion into a full center of excellence, then support that expertise as it spreads across their client base
- Contribute technical enablement to our Tier 1 GSI strategy as it matures, including scoping what a global systems integrator needs to stand up its own agentic AI practice
Partner Technical Evangelism and Feedback
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex partner-led deployments
- Represent LangChain at partner events, summits, and joint webinars
- Gather feedback from partners and the field, and route it back to product and engineering
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience in a technical, partner-facing or customer-facing role such as Partner Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Sales Engineer. We also like former founders, and technical leaders, so if you have an unusual background but the right skill set, you're welcome to apply.
Partner And Technical Experience
- Track record of partnering with systems integrators, cloud providers, or technology and ISV partners to solve complex technical problems, from initial solution design through delivery
- Experience building enablement programs, such as certifications, workshops, or delivery playbooks, that let a partner's technical team operate independently instead of depending on you for every deal
- Comfortable operating across engineering, partnerships, and sales at the same time
- Strong presentation and technical communication skills, able to translate between technical and business stakeholders, including C-suite executives
Agent Engineering And Development
- Hands-on experience building with LLM frameworks such as langchain, langgraph, or similar, including RAG patterns and agent architecture
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks and iterating on prompts and agent behavior based on results
- Strong Python skills
Cloud And Integration
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and/or Azure cloud services.
- Experience designing integrations, sample repositories, or reference architectures that other teams can pick up and reuse
- Familiarity with vector stores, tool integration, and API design in agentic systems
Key Attributes
- You build credibility with a partner's technical team and serve as trusted advisor to the partner.
- Building and evangelizing are both part of the job. You're equally comfortable writing an integration and presenting it at a partner summit.
- You build assets that scale. A reference architecture or enablement guide should work for the next ten partners, not just the one in front of you
- You're comfortable with variety. Cloud co-sell, ISV integrations, and SI enablement each look different day to day, and switching between them doesn't throw you off
Compensation
Annual salary range: $170,000 to $200,000 USD
Compensation Philosophy
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks. Actual compensation and offerings will vary based on role, level, and location. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.
Benefits
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.

Target roles at the intersection of AI and engineering
LangChain's sponsorship activity centers on technical roles in AI infrastructure and software development. Focus your application on positions where your background in machine learning, backend engineering, or developer tooling directly aligns with the company's core product.
Know which visa fits your background before applying
LangChain sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas. If you're an Australian citizen, the E-3 is worth prioritizing, no lottery, faster processing. Understanding which pathway applies to you before your first interview shows preparation and saves time for both sides.
Emphasize specialized AI or LLM experience in your application
LangChain builds developer tooling for large language model applications. Candidates with hands-on experience in LLM orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI agent frameworks are far better positioned than generalist software engineers applying cold.
Be ready to discuss sponsorship early and confidently
LangChain has an active sponsorship track record, but technical hiring moves fast at AI startups. Raise your visa situation early in the recruiter screen so both sides can confirm fit before investing in a full interview loop. Ambiguity here wastes everyone's time.
Look for roles posted through verified sponsoring employers
Not every job listing signals real sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, search LangChain directly to see current openings where sponsorship is confirmed, not assumed.
Align your timeline with H-1B cap deadlines if that's your pathway
If you need H-1B sponsorship, LangChain's hiring timeline needs to align with USCIS registration windows in early spring. Start conversations well before the March registration period so your application is employer-ready when the window opens.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does LangChain sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, LangChain sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established sponsorship track record across its technical roles, particularly in AI infrastructure and software engineering. If you're pursuing an H-1B with LangChain, keep in mind that cap-subject petitions require registration in the annual lottery each spring, so your hiring timeline needs to account for that window.
What visa types does LangChain sponsor?
LangChain sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas. The E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and sidesteps the H-1B lottery entirely, making it a strong option for Australian engineers and technical professionals. If you hold Australian citizenship and qualify for the E-3, it's often the faster and more predictable path to working at a company like LangChain.
Which types of roles at LangChain are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
LangChain's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical roles, software engineering, machine learning, AI research, and developer relations. Given that the company builds infrastructure for large language model applications, candidates with specialized experience in LLM tooling, AI agent frameworks, or backend systems are the strongest fit. Generalist or non-technical roles are less commonly sponsored at AI startups of this size.
How do I find open visa-sponsored roles at LangChain?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find current openings at LangChain with confirmed sponsorship. You can search the company directly and filter for the visa type that applies to your situation, H-1B or E-3, so you're only looking at roles where sponsorship is verified rather than inferred from a generic job listing.
How do I approach the sponsorship conversation with LangChain recruiters?
Raise your visa requirements at the recruiter screen, not after the final round. At an AI-focused company like LangChain, technical hiring moves quickly and recruiters are accustomed to sponsorship conversations. Come prepared with the basics: which visa you need, whether you're cap-subject, and your earliest available start date. That level of preparation signals seriousness and avoids late-stage surprises.
