About The Role
We're looking for a Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team. You'll work directly with enterprise customers to design, deploy, and optimize production-grade AI infrastructure and agent systems. You'll be responsible for architecting scalable, secure infrastructure deployments and building reliable, well-evaluated agent applications that solve real business problems. This role combines software development, infrastructure/platform engineering, and customer-facing skills. You'll work on everything from Kubernetes cluster design to multi-agent system architecture, requiring deep technical expertise across both infrastructure and agent engineering domains. This role offers direct impact on customer success, the opportunity to shape best practices, and work with cutting-edge AI technology. You'll join a collaborative team environment with a strong engineering culture.
About us:
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale. Today, LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, and Agent Builder are used by teams shipping real AI products across startups and large enterprises. Millions of developers trust LangChain to power AI teams at companies like Replit, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, and 35% of the Fortune 500. With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Key Responsibilities

Frame Your LLM Experience in Production Terms
LangChain prioritizes architects who've deployed LLM-powered applications at scale, not just built demos. Document specific production systems you've owned, the orchestration frameworks you used, and the business outcomes delivered. This differentiates you from candidates with only theoretical AI exposure.
Target Roles Aligned with Your Visa Timeline
If your OPT or H-1B status has fewer than six months remaining, flag this early with LangChain's recruiting team. Companies sponsoring Technical Solutions Architects typically need lead time to file an LCA with DOL and prepare the H-1B petition before your current status expires.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Verified Sponsorship Openings
Browsing general job boards won't tell you which Technical Solutions Architect postings at LangChain actively support visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for LangChain roles verified for H-1B and E-3 sponsorship, saving time and avoiding dead-end applications.
Prepare a Portfolio of Enterprise Client Architectures
LangChain's solutions architect interviews typically involve whiteboarding real-world integrations with tools like LangSmith, vector databases, and RAG pipelines. Bring documented examples of enterprise architectures you've designed, including tradeoffs you navigated and how you communicated them to non-technical stakeholders.
Confirm E-3 Eligibility Before Accepting an Offer
Australian citizens applying for an E-3 visa need a certified LCA from the employer before their consular appointment. Confirm that LangChain's HR team is familiar with the E-3 LCA process through DOL, since it differs from the H-1B timeline and doesn't require a lottery registration.
Request Written Sponsorship Confirmation Before Resigning
Before leaving a current role, get written confirmation from LangChain that the offer includes visa sponsorship and that they'll begin the filing process on your start date. Verbal assurances aren't enough when your status depends on employer action within the 60-day grace period.

Find Technical Solutions Architect at LangChain JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does LangChain sponsor H-1B visas for Technical Solutions Architects?
Yes, LangChain has sponsored H-1B visas for Technical Solutions Architects. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS criteria, given the requirement for a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field. Because H-1B sponsorship depends on the lottery, it's worth confirming the filing timeline with LangChain's recruiting team before accepting an offer.
How do I apply for Technical Solutions Architect jobs at LangChain?
You can find and apply for Technical Solutions Architect roles at LangChain through their careers page or through Migrate Mate, which lists LangChain openings verified for visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your materials to show hands-on experience with LangChain's core products, including LangSmith and LangGraph, as well as enterprise deployment experience with LLM-based systems.
Which visa types does LangChain sponsor for Technical Solutions Architects?
LangChain sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas for Technical Solutions Architects. The H-1B is available to all eligible nationalities but requires annual lottery selection by USCIS. The E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens, has a separate annual allocation that has historically gone unfilled, and can be filed directly with a DOL-certified LCA without lottery participation.
What qualifications does LangChain expect for Technical Solutions Architect candidates?
LangChain expects Technical Solutions Architects to have a background in software engineering or a closely related technical discipline, with direct experience building or deploying LLM-based applications in production environments. Familiarity with LangChain's own tooling, vector store integrations, and RAG pipeline design is a strong advantage. Enterprise client-facing experience and the ability to architect solutions across complex technical stacks are typically required.
How do I time my application if I need sponsorship before my current status expires?
Start your application process at least three to four months before your current visa status expires. LangChain needs time to file a Labor Condition Application with DOL and prepare the petition before USCIS can process it. For H-1B transfers, you can begin working for LangChain once USCIS receives the petition, but plan around filing windows to avoid any gap in work authorization.
