Align your credentials to U.S. licensure standards
Healthcare roles at Life Time often require active state licensure, not just a foreign qualification. Before applying, verify your credentials through the relevant state board so you can demonstrate immediate practice readiness to a hiring manager.
Target Life Time's integrated wellness clinic openings
Life Time embeds healthcare professionals inside its fitness clubs, so look specifically for roles tied to LifeSpa, LifeClinic, or athletic recovery programs. These positions sit within a recurring hiring cycle and are more likely to carry sponsorship consideration than general corporate openings.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before the final interview round
Life Time sponsors through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, which require PERM labor certification and can take months to initiate. Confirm the specific role supports sponsorship during the offer stage, not after you have accepted, to avoid delays in your work authorization timeline.
Use OPT strategically to build an internal track record
If you are on F-1 OPT, joining Life Time in a qualifying Healthcare role lets you demonstrate clinical value before PERM sponsorship is formally requested. USCIS allows up to 12 months of OPT, with a 24-month STEM extension if your degree qualifies, giving you meaningful runway.
Prepare a documentation package that reflects U.S. clinical standards
Life Time's hiring managers in healthcare review clinical experience with a focus on scope-of-practice fit for a sports and wellness environment. Organize your CV, foreign degree evaluation, and any continuing education certifications into a single package before your first recruiter call.

Does Life Time sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Life Time's documented sponsorship activity for Healthcare roles runs through EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways rather than H-1B. If you are already on H-1B status from a prior employer and are looking to transfer, that conversation is best handled directly with Life Time's HR team, as transfer eligibility depends on the specific role and its prevailing wage classification.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at Life Time?
Start by identifying open Healthcare roles tied to Life Time's club-based wellness operations, such as LifeClinic or LifeSpa locations, where sponsorship has historically been relevant. Apply through the company's careers portal with a CV tailored to the sports and wellness environment. You can also browse and filter Life Time's sponsored Healthcare openings directly on Migrate Mate to prioritize applications where international hiring is part of the role profile.
Which visa types are commonly used for Healthcare roles at Life Time?
Life Time's Healthcare sponsorship history is centered on EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card categories, which are well suited to licensed clinical and wellness professionals. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported, making Life Time a viable employer for international students completing U.S.-based healthcare or kinesiology programs who need practical training authorization before pursuing permanent residency.
What qualifications does Life Time typically expect for sponsored Healthcare roles?
Life Time's Healthcare positions in its clubs generally require a relevant U.S. state license or certification, such as a physical therapy license, chiropractic license, or registered dietitian credential. Roles tied to athletic recovery or sports medicine also value experience in a fitness or performance setting. Foreign credentials must typically be evaluated by a NACES-approved agency to confirm equivalency before a sponsorship petition can be filed with USCIS.
How do I understand the timeline for an EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship at Life Time?
The EB-2 and EB-3 process begins with PERM labor certification filed with the DOL, which alone can take six months to over a year. After PERM approval, Life Time files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Depending on your country of birth and the visa bulletin priority date at the time, the total path from offer to Green Card approval can span several years, so starting early is essential.
