Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Cloud Engineer Jobs at NTT DATA Jobs
Align your cloud certifications to NTT DATA's stack
NTT DATA's Cloud Engineer roles frequently require hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Holding an active certification in one of these platforms signals job-ready skills and strengthens your petition when the employer documents specialty occupation requirements.
Target managed services and infrastructure teams directly
NTT DATA's managed services division generates consistent Cloud Engineer headcount. Filtering your applications to infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and network modernization teams puts you in front of hiring managers with recurring sponsorship needs rather than project-based roles with uncertain timelines.
Time your OPT application to allow buffer
If you're on F-1 OPT, USCIS recommends applying at least 90 days before your program end date. For Cloud Engineer roles at a large employer like NTT DATA, build in additional time for internal HR and E-Verify enrollment steps that run parallel to your USCIS filing.
Prepare your prevailing wage documentation early
NTT DATA files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B or E-3 petition can proceed. Having your official job title, worksite location, and degree documentation ready speeds up the LCA stage and reduces back-and-forth with your assigned immigration contact.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Cloud Engineer roles at NTT DATA
Cloud Engineer openings at large IT services firms turn over frequently. Search Migrate Mate to filter NTT DATA's current Cloud Engineer listings by visa type so you're applying to roles already flagged for sponsorship, not guessing from a general careers page.

Find Cloud Engineer at NTT DATA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does NTT DATA sponsor H-1B visas for Cloud Engineers?
Yes, NTT DATA sponsors H-1B visas for Cloud Engineers. The company has an active immigration program and works with candidates through the full H-1B process, including the DOL Labor Condition Application and USCIS petition filing. Because H-1B availability depends on the annual cap and lottery, confirm timing with your recruiter early so the LCA and petition are prepared before the April filing window.
How do I apply for Cloud Engineer jobs at NTT DATA?
You can apply through NTT DATA's careers portal or find open Cloud Engineer roles filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight cloud platform experience, relevant certifications, and any enterprise IT or managed services background. After submitting, expect an initial technical screen followed by panel interviews focused on architecture and hands-on cloud skills.
Which visa types does NTT DATA commonly use for Cloud Engineer roles?
NTT DATA sponsors Cloud Engineers on H-1B, E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), and F-1 OPT and CPT for students in eligible STEM programs. For candidates seeking permanent residence, the company also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, typically after an initial period in an H-1B status.
What qualifications does NTT DATA expect for sponsored Cloud Engineer roles?
Most Cloud Engineer roles require a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field, which satisfies the specialty occupation requirement USCIS looks for in H-1B and E-3 petitions. Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, combined with infrastructure or DevOps skills, is consistently emphasized across NTT DATA's Cloud Engineer job postings.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Cloud Engineer at NTT DATA?
For H-1B, the process starts with a DOL Labor Condition Application, which typically takes seven to ten business days, followed by USCIS petition processing. Standard processing runs three to five months; premium processing through USCIS can reduce the adjudication window to 15 business days for an additional fee. E-3 consular processing for Australian applicants is often faster, with most interviews scheduled within a few weeks of the LCA being certified.
