What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive the design and implementation of scalable, intelligent workflows and applications across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM and HRSD.
- Define architectural standards and ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing platform solutions.
- Own and manage the ServiceNow platform end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, upgrades, and overall platform health.
- Establish and enforce platform governance standards for architecture, security, scalability, and user experience.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of platform operations and service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a global team of engineers, including internal staff and external partners.

What We Need To See:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
- 12+ overall years experience with enterprise architecture, IT leadership, or large-scale software engineering and platform management (including SaaS and AI/ML systems).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with system-level development.
- Hands-on experience with test automation, production testing, and automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Linux, embedded systems, firmware, and hardware/software integration.
- Deep knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ServiceNow (HR, Security, Finance modules preferred).
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Automated testing frameworks, and structured software development methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to drive strategy, process discipline, and organizational change.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience implementing enterprise-grade governance for agent systems (controls, audit-ability, monitoring, policy enforcement) in production autonomous workflows.
- Demonstrated wins taking new/open-source agent constructs from POC to production adoption, with clear business impact (cycle time, quality, cost, reliability).
- Built and scaled an agent platform or agent developer experience used by multiple teams (SDKs, templates, reference apps, reusable building blocks).
- Clear point of view and real examples on build-vs-use decisions—when to adopt OSS/3P vs build internal primitives—and how to operationalize the choice.
- Deep experience with agent evaluation at scale (long-horizon tasks, tool correctness, reliability testing, automated regressions, offline/online feedback loops).

Build a Portfolio Demonstrating Cross-Functional Engineering Scale
NVIDIA's Engineering Senior Manager bar requires evidence of leading multi-disciplinary teams across hardware, software, or systems domains. Document specific examples where you drove engineering strategy across org boundaries, not just within a single team.
Target NVIDIA Business Units Hiring Actively
NVIDIA's hiring for senior engineering managers concentrates in GPU architecture, data center infrastructure, and AI platform teams. Filter open roles by these divisions rather than applying broadly across the company to improve your targeting and interview relevance.
Expect a Multi-Round Technical Leadership Interview
NVIDIA's senior manager interviews assess both engineering depth and leadership philosophy, often across five or more rounds. Prepare to articulate how you've resolved technical disagreements at scale, hired senior engineers, and shipped complex hardware or software programs under constraint.
Align Your Offer Timeline with H-1B Cap Deadlines
If you need a new H-1B, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. Targeting a signed offer by February gives NVIDIA's immigration team enough runway to complete LCA filing with DOL and submit your petition before the window closes.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Sponsored Senior Manager Roles
Search Migrate Mate to filter Engineering Senior Manager openings at NVIDIA that are open to visa sponsorship. It saves time you'd otherwise spend manually screening job postings that don't support international candidates in senior leadership roles.

Find Engineering Senior Manager at NVIDIA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Engineering Senior Managers?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Engineering Senior Manager roles. NVIDIA has a dedicated immigration team that manages LCA filings with DOL and H-1B petitions with USCIS for senior hires. If you're currently on OPT or a different H-1B, NVIDIA can typically initiate a transfer or cap-exempt filing depending on your situation.
Which visa types does NVIDIA commonly use for Engineering Senior Manager roles?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for most nationalities, E-3 visas for Australian citizens, and employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 or EB-3 preference categories. For senior engineering managers, EB-2 is common given the advanced degree and specialized expertise typically required. Green Card sponsorship usually begins after you've established tenure in the role.
What qualifications does NVIDIA expect for Engineering Senior Manager candidates?
NVIDIA generally expects a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related field, with a master's or PhD preferred for senior leadership roles. Beyond credentials, NVIDIA looks for demonstrated experience managing senior engineers, shipping large-scale hardware or software products, and influencing technical roadmaps across organizational boundaries.
How do I apply for Engineering Senior Manager jobs at NVIDIA?
Apply directly through NVIDIA's careers portal and flag your visa sponsorship requirements during the application process. Tailoring your resume to reflect leadership at the scale NVIDIA operates, such as managing teams across multiple geographies or product lines, significantly improves your chances of clearing the initial recruiter screen. Migrate Mate also lists sponsored Engineering Senior Manager openings at NVIDIA if you want to track active roles in one place.
How do I estimate the timeline from offer to work authorization at NVIDIA?
For H-1B transfers or cap-exempt filings, USCIS standard processing runs three to five months, though premium processing cuts that to 15 business days. For new cap-subject H-1B petitions, plan for an October 1 start date at the earliest. E-3 applicants can often move faster since consular processing in Australia typically resolves within two to four weeks of the interview.
