Tailor credentials to specialty occupation standards
USCIS evaluates H-1B eligibility by confirming the role requires a specific degree field. For a Senior Manager position in environmental or civil engineering consulting, align your transcripts and professional licenses directly to the technical functions Langan describes in its job postings.
Research Langan's active project sectors early
Langan staffs Senior Managers across land development, infrastructure, and environmental remediation. Identifying which sector aligns with your experience lets you target the right practice group and frame your application around projects the firm is actively winning.
Clarify sponsorship scope before accepting an offer
Senior Manager roles often involve long-term staffing considerations. Before signing, confirm whether the offer includes both H-1B filing and a downstream Green Card pathway through EB-2 or EB-3 PERM, since consulting firms vary significantly on permanent residency support.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Senior Manager roles
Langan posts openings across multiple offices and project types. Use Migrate Mate to filter Engineering Senior Manager positions at Langan that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're targeting active listings rather than relying on general job boards.
Confirm DOL prevailing wage classification at offer stage
For LCA-backed visas including H-1B and TN, DOL assigns a wage level to the role. Senior Manager positions in engineering consulting can fall between Level III and Level IV. Verifying your wage level early prevents delays in LCA certification before your petition is filed.
