Align your credentials to NVIDIA's standards
NVIDIA Finance roles typically require a CPA, CFA, or advanced degree in finance or accounting. Ensure your credentials are recognized or evaluated for U.S. equivalency before applying, since specialty occupation approval depends on a clear field-to-role match.
Target NVIDIA's high-sponsorship Finance teams
NVIDIA's corporate FP&A, revenue recognition, and strategic finance teams have the most active international hiring. Focus applications on roles tied to GPU or data center business units, where headcount growth has been most consistent in recent cycles.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B, E-3, and Green Card pathways for Finance professionals. Migrate Mate lets you browse currently open Finance positions at NVIDIA filtered by the visa types they sponsor, saving you from applying to roles without sponsorship intent.
Prepare for NVIDIA's structured interview process early
NVIDIA Finance interviews involve case-based financial modeling and cross-functional scenario questions. Having your work authorization timeline ready, including cap-subject H-1B deadlines or E-3 processing windows, lets you negotiate start dates confidently if an offer comes through.
Understand how NVIDIA's LCA filing affects your offer
Before NVIDIA can file your H-1B or E-3 petition, it must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying your offered wage meets prevailing wage levels. This step happens after your offer, so don't treat the offer letter as the finish line.
Plan around the H-1B cap if you're not already exempt
If you're on OPT or a non-cap-exempt visa, NVIDIA's H-1B sponsorship is subject to the annual lottery with registrations due in March. Missing the registration window means waiting a full year, so confirm your eligibility timeline with your recruiter before accepting any role.

Find Finance at NVIDIA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Finance roles?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Finance professionals across functions including FP&A, revenue accounting, and strategic finance. The process requires NVIDIA to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting the H-1B petition to USCIS. If you're subject to the annual cap, your registration must be submitted during the March window.
How do I apply for Finance jobs at NVIDIA?
Applications go through NVIDIA's careers portal at nvidia.com/en-us/about-nvidia/careers. Finance roles are listed under the Finance and Accounting category. You can also browse currently open Finance positions at NVIDIA that include visa sponsorship through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by sponsored visa type so you can focus on the opportunities that match your status.
Which visa types does NVIDIA sponsor for Finance positions?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B, E-3, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Finance roles. H-1B is the most common route for non-Australian nationals. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, which has no lottery and allows for consular processing. Green Card sponsorship typically follows a period of H-1B employment through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does NVIDIA expect for Finance roles?
Most Finance openings at NVIDIA expect a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, with CPA or CFA credentials valued for accounting and investment-adjacent roles. For specialty occupation approval under H-1B, your degree field needs to directly relate to the specific Finance role. Generalist degrees without a finance concentration can complicate the petition.
How do I manage the timeline between a Finance offer and my visa start date?
Once NVIDIA extends an offer, H-1B and E-3 filings take weeks to months depending on whether premium processing is used. USCIS premium processing for H-1B adjudication runs 15 business days from receipt. E-3 consular processing in Australia can move faster. Align your expected start date with your recruiter early, and account for any remaining OPT or grace period days.
