Tailor your resume to Qualus project types
Qualus operates in power, grid, and energy infrastructure consulting. Frame your manufacturing experience around process improvement, quality systems, or equipment lifecycle work that translates to field-adjacent technical support, not just factory floor production roles.
Verify your credential equivalency before applying
If your engineering degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved agency before interviews. Consulting firms like Qualus assess whether your background meets the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires for H-1B approval.
Target postings that list multiple visa types
Qualus sponsors TN and F-1 OPT in addition to H-1B, so look for roles that explicitly name several visa categories. Applying to listings that already acknowledge sponsorship flexibility saves time and signals the hiring team has gone through this process before.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Filter Manufacturing Engineer openings at Qualus by visa type on Migrate Mate to surface roles where sponsorship has been used for this specific function. That narrows your list to positions with a real precedent, not just a boilerplate sponsorship policy.
Ask about the LCA process during offer negotiation
Before signing, confirm which office location your role would be tied to. The Labor Condition Application DOL requires specifies a worksite, and consulting roles with variable client sites can complicate LCA filings if your primary work location isn't clearly defined upfront.

Find Manufacturing Engineer at Qualus JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Qualus sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing Engineers?
Yes, Qualus sponsors H-1B visas for Manufacturing Engineer roles. As a consulting and professional services firm, Qualus has an established sponsorship process for technical positions that meet the specialty occupation standard USCIS requires. If you're applying in a cap-subject year, registration typically opens in March for an October 1 start date, so plan your timeline accordingly.
Which visa types does Qualus commonly use for Manufacturing Engineer roles?
Qualus sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Cards for qualifying employees. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose engineering discipline appears on the USMCA occupation list. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates before transitioning to a long-term sponsored visa category.
How do I apply for Manufacturing Engineer jobs at Qualus?
You can browse and apply for Manufacturing Engineer roles at Qualus through Migrate Mate, which lists verified sponsoring employers and filters positions by visa type. When applying, clearly indicate your authorization status and any upcoming expiration dates. Qualus recruits for both project-based and ongoing engineering positions, so check listings regularly as openings reflect active client demand.
What qualifications does Qualus expect for Manufacturing Engineer positions?
Most Manufacturing Engineer roles at Qualus require a bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or a closely related field. Experience with process documentation, quality management systems, or equipment commissioning is commonly expected. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree must align directly with the role to satisfy the USCIS specialty occupation requirement under H-1B.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Qualus to sponsor my visa?
Start conversations early. If you need H-1B sponsorship, the cap registration window in March means you need an offer in hand before then for an October start. For TN, processing is faster and can happen at the port of entry. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 takes significantly longer and typically begins after you've established tenure in the role.
