Align Your PMP Credentials Before Applying
Qualus evaluates Senior Project Management candidates on demonstrated delivery in infrastructure or energy consulting. Having your PMP certification and a clear record of large-scale project ownership strengthens both your application and the specialty occupation case for H-1B filing.
Target Roles Tied to Utility Clients
Qualus staffs Senior Project Management professionals against long-term utility and grid modernization contracts. Roles tied to specific client engagements tend to have clearer business need documentation, which matters when your employer builds the H-1B or PERM evidentiary record with DOL.
Search Open Positions Through Migrate Mate
Qualus posts Senior Project Management openings across multiple locations and project lines. Use Migrate Mate to filter active roles by visa sponsorship type so you're only pursuing positions where your status is already a fit before you reach the recruiter conversation.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope During the Offer Stage
Consulting firms sometimes draw a line between H-1B transfers and new cap-subject filings. Before accepting an offer, confirm whether Qualus will support a cap-exempt transfer if you're already in H-1B status or whether your hire falls in a new lottery cycle with an April 1 filing window.
Prepare for PERM Timelines in Consulting Environments
Employer-sponsored Green Card timelines in professional services can extend across multiple project assignments. If Qualus agrees to sponsor EB-2 or EB-3 PERM, get clarity upfront on whether the sponsoring position is tied to a specific client role or a general job description that travels with you.
Document Client-Facing Deliverables for Your Visa Petition
USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation claims for consulting roles. Build a portfolio of project charters, stakeholder reports, and scope documents tied to Qualus engagements. This evidence directly supports the argument that your role requires a specific degree in project management or engineering.

Does Qualus sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Project Managements?
Yes, Qualus sponsors H-1B visas for Senior Project Management roles. Because these positions sit within an engineering and infrastructure consulting firm, the specialty occupation argument centers on the technical complexity of the work. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a cap-exempt transfer is the faster path rather than waiting on the annual lottery.
How do I apply for Senior Project Management jobs at Qualus?
Applications go through Qualus's careers portal, where Senior Project Management roles are posted by project type and geography. Before applying, confirm the specific role aligns with your visa category by reviewing the job requirements against your status. Migrate Mate lets you browse Qualus openings filtered by visa sponsorship type so you spend time only on roles where sponsorship is confirmed.
Which visa types does Qualus commonly use for Senior Project Management hires?
Qualus sponsors H-1B as the primary work visa for Senior Project Management professionals, along with TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles. F-1 OPT and CPT are supported for qualifying candidates earlier in their careers, and the company also sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-tenured employees.
What qualifications does Qualus expect for Senior Project Management roles?
Qualus typically looks for a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a closely related field, combined with substantial project delivery experience in energy or utility infrastructure. PMP certification is a strong differentiator. For visa purposes, your degree field needs to align with the specific role, since USCIS evaluates that match as part of the specialty occupation determination.
How do I plan around H-1B filing timelines when targeting Qualus?
If you need a new cap-subject H-1B, USCIS opens registration each March for an October 1 start date. That means an offer from Qualus in early spring aligns well, but a summer offer would require bridging on OPT or another status until the following October. If you're transferring an existing H-1B, Qualus can file immediately and you can start upon receipt of the petition.
