In this role, you will design, build, and support scalable Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions leveraging the Ping Identity Suite (PingFederate, Ping Directory, Ping Access and PingOne). As a key contributor within this IAM engineering team, you will modernize authentication journeys, automate authorization flows, and streamline secure access. Your work will help operate identity use cases with automation, resilience, and compliance in mind.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure reliable orchestration at scale
- Implement and maintain Ping Identity solutions for seamless SSO, MFA, and adaptive authentication
- Develop and maintain authentication policies, selectors, and adapters to support complex user journeys
- Leverage PingOne DaVinci to orchestrate low-code identity workflows and integrate third-party security services
- Utilize Ping REST APIs and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate operational tasks, monitoring, and administrative functions
- Support Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes by integrating Ping stack components with upstream identity sources and downstream SPs
- Collaborate with App Owners and Security teams to migrate legacy applications to modern protocols (OIDC/OAuth 2.0/SAML2.0/SCIM)
- Troubleshoot complex authentication issues, latent LDAP queries, and synchronization errors across the Ping ecosystem
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and automated operational run books
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years’ experience in software engineering, IAM engineering, or API platform architecture
- Experience working in “No Code / Low Code” workflow development platform
- Hands-on experience with the Ping Identity platform, including PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and/or PingOne

- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and Postman Tool
- Scripting ability in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep understanding of LDAP best practices, specifically with Ping Directory
- Experience in a DevOps environment, treating "Identity as Code" through configuration automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript for custom business logic implementation
- Advanced use of JSON for IAM related workflow payloads, REST API integrations, and event handling
- Basic proficiency with HTML and CSS for custom UI, branding, and hosted page integration
- Proven experience with Identity Orchestration and modernizing authentication flows (PingOne DaVinci experience is a plus)
- Certifications in Ping Identity, or major IAM platforms
COMPENSATION
The base compensation range for this full-time position is between [$100,000 - $130,000] plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications. If you have questions regarding compensation, the talent acquisition team can provide relevant details during the interview process.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Mechanical Engineer Jobs at REPLY Jobs
Align your credentials to U.S. specialty occupation standards
REPLY files H-1B petitions under the specialty occupation standard, which requires a direct-field degree match. An engineering degree in mechanical, systems, or a closely related discipline strengthens your petition far more than a general STEM background.
Target REPLY's systems integration and IoT practices
REPLY's mechanical engineering openings frequently appear within practices that build connected products and industrial automation solutions. Positioning your resume around embedded systems, product lifecycle, or smart manufacturing directly maps to their active hiring tracks.
Use Migrate Mate to surface REPLY's open mechanical engineer roles
REPLY posts mechanical engineer positions across multiple practices and locations, so listings can be easy to miss on general job boards. Migrate Mate filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers, letting you find and track REPLY openings without manual searching.
Prepare your OPT or TN documentation before the final interview round
TN status for engineers requires a qualifying engineering degree and a specific job offer letter referencing the TN occupation category. Have your degree credentials and an unofficial transcript ready so REPLY's immigration counsel can confirm TN eligibility before the offer stage.
Understand how PERM fits into REPLY's long-term sponsorship path
REPLY sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for engineering roles, which typically requires a PERM labor certification filed with DOL. Confirm during the offer negotiation whether REPLY initiates PERM for your role level and what the expected timeline looks like.

Find Mechanical Engineer at REPLY JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does REPLY sponsor H-1B visas for Mechanical Engineers?
Yes, REPLY sponsors H-1B visas for Mechanical Engineer roles. Their engineering practices, particularly those focused on systems integration and connected products, regularly support H-1B petitions. Because the H-1B is subject to an annual cap and lottery, timing your application cycle correctly is critical. Candidates on F-1 OPT can often begin work while an H-1B petition is pending USCIS approval.
How do I apply for Mechanical Engineer jobs at REPLY?
Apply directly through REPLY's careers portal, where positions are organized by practice area. Because REPLY operates across multiple specialized business units, filter by engineering or technology practices to find mechanical roles. Migrate Mate also aggregates REPLY's visa-sponsoring openings in one place, which makes it easier to track new postings and apply to roles that match your authorization needs without checking multiple sources.
Which visa types does REPLY commonly use for Mechanical Engineer hires?
REPLY sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Cards for Mechanical Engineer positions. H-1B is the most common long-term work visa for engineers. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals who hold a qualifying engineering degree. F-1 OPT and CPT are frequently used to bridge recent graduates into full-time roles while longer-term petitions are prepared.
What qualifications does REPLY expect from Mechanical Engineer candidates?
REPLY's mechanical engineering roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or a directly related field. Roles within their IoT and industrial automation practices often favor candidates with experience in CAD, product lifecycle management, or embedded hardware integration. Because REPLY operates in the technology sector, familiarity with systems-level thinking and cross-functional product development strengthens your profile considerably.
How do I plan my timeline if I need REPLY to sponsor my visa?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, work backward from the October 1 fiscal year start date. USCIS registration opens in March, so an offer should ideally be in place by February. For TN or H-1B transfers from another employer, processing can move faster since those are not cap-subject. For Green Card sponsorship through PERM, DOL processing alone can take a year or more, so raising it early in your employment is advisable.
