As an IAM Software Engineer, you will help to drive the evolution of our enterprise identity ecosystem. In this role, you will design, build, and support scalable Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions leveraging the Ping Identity Suite (PingFederate, Ping Directory, Ping Access and PingOne). As a key contributor within this IAM engineering team, you will modernize authentication journeys, automate authorization flows, and streamline secure access. Your work will help operate identity use cases with automation, resilience, and compliance in mind.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure reliable orchestration at scale
- Implement and maintain Ping Identity solutions for seamless SSO, MFA, and adaptive authentication
- Develop and maintain authentication policies, selectors, and adapters to support complex user journeys
- Leverage PingOne DaVinci to orchestrate low-code identity workflows and integrate third-party security services
- Utilize Ping REST APIs and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate operational tasks, monitoring, and administrative functions
- Support Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes by integrating Ping stack components with upstream identity sources and downstream SPs
- Collaborate with App Owners and Security teams to migrate legacy applications to modern protocols (OIDC/OAuth 2.0/SAML2.0/SCIM)
- Troubleshoot complex authentication issues, latent LDAP queries, and synchronization errors across the Ping ecosystem
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and automated operational run books
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years’ experience in software engineering, IAM engineering, or API platform architecture
- Experience working in “No Code / Low Code” workflow development platform
- Hands-on experience with the Ping Identity platform, including PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and/or PingOne
- Knowledge of identity protocols including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and Postman Tool
- Scripting ability in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep understanding of LDAP best practices, specifically with Ping Directory
- Experience in a DevOps environment, treating "Identity as Code" through configuration automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript for custom business logic implementation
- Advanced use of JSON for IAM related workflow payloads, REST API integrations, and event handling
- Basic proficiency with HTML and CSS for custom UI, branding, and hosted page integration
- Proven experience with Identity Orchestration and modernizing authentication flows (PingOne DaVinci experience is a plus)
- Certifications in Ping Identity, or major IAM platforms
COMPENSATION
The base compensation range for this full-time position is between [$100,000 - $130,000] plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications. If you have questions regarding compensation, the talent acquisition team can provide relevant details during the interview process.

Align your portfolio to REPLY's delivery model
REPLY operates through a network of specialist companies, so tailor your portfolio to show product engineering work inside consulting or client-delivery contexts, not just internal product builds. Interviewers are looking for engineers who can ship across varied client environments.
Verify your visa type before applying
REPLY sponsors multiple visa categories for Product Engineers, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN. Confirm which status you're currently on and which you'll need next, since the filing path and timing differ significantly between, say, OPT extension and a new H-1B cap filing.
Time your application around the H-1B cap cycle
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. Target REPLY's open Product Engineer roles in the preceding months so your offer and petition paperwork can be ready before the registration window closes.
Request clarity on PERM and Green Card pathways early
For long-term sponsorship, ask during the offer stage whether REPLY initiates PERM labor certification for Product Engineers moving toward EB-2 or EB-3 Green Cards. Knowing their policy upfront helps you assess the full sponsorship commitment, not just the initial H-1B.
Highlight cross-functional product engineering experience
REPLY's Product Engineer roles typically span backend development, API design, and product lifecycle work. Demonstrating that you've collaborated with product managers and designers, not just written code, directly addresses the hybrid scope these positions demand in consulting-led engagements.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified REPLY openings
Finding Product Engineer roles that are actively open and confirmed for visa sponsorship is the hardest first step. Use Migrate Mate to browse and filter REPLY's current openings by visa type, so you're targeting roles that match your specific immigration status from the start.

Find Product Engineer at REPLY JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does REPLY sponsor H-1B visas for Product Engineers?
Yes, REPLY sponsors H-1B visas for Product Engineer roles. If you're on F-1 OPT, you'd typically work under OPT first while REPLY files your H-1B petition during the March USCIS registration window for an October 1 start. TN visa sponsorship is also available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering roles.
Which visa types does REPLY commonly use for Product Engineer roles?
REPLY sponsors several visa categories for Product Engineers, including H-1B for specialty occupation workers, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals under the USMCA, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visas for longer-term sponsorship. The right category depends on your nationality, education, and where you are in your career.
What qualifications does REPLY expect for Product Engineer positions?
REPLY's Product Engineer roles typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field, which also satisfies USCIS specialty occupation requirements for H-1B purposes. Hands-on experience with full-stack or backend development, API integration, and working in agile or consulting delivery environments strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How do I apply for Product Engineer jobs at REPLY?
You can browse REPLY's open Product Engineer positions through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can target openings that match your current immigration status. From there, apply directly and be prepared for a technical screening, a take-home or live coding assessment, and interviews that assess both engineering depth and your ability to work across client-facing project environments.
How do I plan my timeline if REPLY is sponsoring my H-1B?
If REPLY is filing a cap-subject H-1B for you, the practical window is tight. USCIS opens registration in March, and petitions for selected candidates are filed by April for an October 1 start date. Secure your offer and complete any required documentation, including your Labor Condition Application filed through DOL, before the registration period to avoid missing the cycle entirely.
