INTRODUCTION
Logistics Reply is a Reply company providing cutting-edge software solutions that help companies achieve an efficient and more connected digital supply chain where different systems, partners, humans, and machines seamlessly interact embracing the use of next-generation technologies such as AI, robotics, wearables, and IoT. Logistics Reply accompanies its customers in this transformation journey ensuring rapid time-to-value and long-term quality results thanks to over 25 years of experience and deep knowledge of technologies and supply chain processes.
As a Technical Solution Owner on Logistics Reply’s LEA Delivery Team, you will help build, customize, and evolve our proprietary logistics platform for enterprise clients—working end-to-end across Java/Groovy back-end services, Apache Camel integrations, and a customized UI. You will collaborate closely with the team to deliver high-quality, tenant-specific solutions while growing confident in the LEA framework and its architecture. This is a great fit if you have strong back-end fundamentals, enjoy learning mature ecosystems, and bring curiosity, ownership, and a real interest in the logistics domain.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using our custom SCE UI framework (built on YUI 3 and Handlebars.js), interacting with back-end services via REST APIs
- Extend and configure back-end services (SCE BE) using Java (Jakarta EE, CDI), Groovy, and integration frameworks like Apache Camel. Implement business logic with tools such as Camunda DMN decision tables
- Analyze, debug, and reverse-engineer a complex, mature Java codebase to troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and perform refactoring—building deep product knowledge over time
- Work closely with business analysts and project managers to translate complex logistics requirements into robust technical solutions. Ensure customizations are well-designed, documented, and tested
- Manage builds, dependencies, and deployments. Strictly follow Git best practices, including branching models (GitLab Flow) and solid commit strategies
- Support the end-to-end release process for individual tenants—planning, coordinating, and executing deployments to deliver updates and new functionality
- Actively contribute to better team practices through code reviews, modular configuration, improved documentation, and a proactive attitude toward learning and solution evolution
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years of experience in back-end development with Java (Jakarta EE, CDI), Groovy, and integration frameworks like Apache Camel
- Strong understanding of the Maven build lifecycle, including compiling the Java codebase and managing complex cross-module dependencies
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise middleware such as application servers (e.g., WildFly), message brokers (e.g., ActiveMQ), and event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka)
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with non-SPA front-ends. Direct experience with YUI is a plus; otherwise, you must be willing and able to quickly master a legacy framework
- Proven ability to dive into a large existing codebase, understand functionality even with incomplete documentation, and deliver targeted enhancements safely
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo preferred) and expert-level proficiency with Git, including branching models and strategies
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning, improving existing systems, and steadily increasing ownership—from understanding “how it works” to shaping “how it should evolve"
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of logistics, SCM, or WMS concepts to better interpret requirements and navigate the existing codebase
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Ingress) is highly desirable
- Experience with BPMN engines, especially Camunda and DMN decision tables
- Familiarity with Apache HTTP Server
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus (not the primary technology, but useful for modern UI thinking)
COMPENSATION
- The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $80,000 - $100,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications. If you have questions regarding compensation, the talent acquisition team can provide relevant details during the interview process.
Reply is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to provide equal opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status. If you need assistance and reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or the recruiting process, email us at jobusa@reply.com.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. Align your credentials to REPLY's delivery model
REPLY operates through specialized technology and consulting companies, so tailor your resume to reflect project-based technical work. Highlight system integration, infrastructure support, or client-facing deployments that match the delivery structure their Technician teams use.
Target REPLY's technology subsidiaries directly
REPLY is a network of specialist companies, not a single hiring entity. Identify which subsidiary is posting the Technician role and research that unit's technical focus before applying. A targeted cover letter that speaks to their specific practice area carries more weight than a generic one.
Use OPT early to build your internal profile
Starting on F-1 OPT gives you up to 12 months of authorized work, with a potential 24-month STEM extension if your role qualifies. Getting inside REPLY before your H-1B window opens puts you in a stronger position when the employer initiates your cap-subject petition.
Understand TN eligibility for your specific role
Canadian and Mexican nationals applying for Technician roles should confirm the job title and duties map to a recognized TN category before the offer stage. DOL occupational classifications matter here. If the role blends duties across categories, clarify this with the hiring team before your offer letter is finalized.
Raise sponsorship expectations during the offer stage
REPLY has sponsored H-1B and employment-based Green Card petitions for Technician roles. Confirm whether the specific hiring subsidiary will initiate filing, who manages the process internally, and whether USCIS premium processing is available to compress the approval timeline.
Search REPLY's open Technician roles on Migrate Mate
REPLY posts Technician openings across multiple subsidiaries and locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter for roles at REPLY that align with your visa category, so you're applying where sponsorship is actively supported rather than sorting through listings that don't fit your situation.

Find Technician at REPLY JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does REPLY sponsor H-1B visas for Technicians?
Yes, REPLY has a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas for Technician roles. Because REPLY operates as a network of specialist subsidiaries, sponsorship is typically managed at the subsidiary level rather than centrally. When you receive an offer, confirm which legal entity is employing you and whether that unit has an active relationship with an immigration counsel who handles H-1B filings through USCIS.
How do I apply for Technician jobs at REPLY?
REPLY lists Technician openings through its individual subsidiary websites and general job boards. The most efficient approach is to use Migrate Mate, which aggregates REPLY's open Technician roles and filters by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can identify the right opportunities without manually checking each subsidiary. Apply directly through the listing and address your application to the specific technical practice area the role supports.
Which visa types does REPLY commonly use for Technician roles?
REPLY sponsors across several categories for Technician positions, including H-1B, F-1 OPT and CPT, TN, EB-2, and EB-3. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering the role, with H-1B sponsorship following once the candidate demonstrates fit. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals if the role maps cleanly to an eligible occupational category under the USMCA.
What qualifications does REPLY expect for sponsored Technician roles?
REPLY's Technician roles typically require a relevant technical degree or demonstrable hands-on experience in areas like systems support, infrastructure, networking, or enterprise software. For H-1B eligibility, the position needs to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, meaning a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a specific technical field is generally required. Practical project experience and certifications strengthen your application alongside formal credentials.
How do I plan my timeline if I need REPLY to file an H-1B for me?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS accepting registrations in March for an October 1 start date. If you're on OPT when you receive your offer, confirm whether your remaining OPT period covers you through the start date. If there's a gap, a STEM OPT extension or a cap-exempt filing through an eligible employer may bridge it. Start the conversation with REPLY's hiring team well before the March registration window.
