Frame your PM credentials for specialty occupation
Roblox Program Manager roles typically require a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. Document that your degree maps directly to the role's responsibilities so your employer can support the H-1B specialty occupation requirement without pushback from USCIS.
Target Roblox's platform and infrastructure teams
Program Manager openings at Roblox skew heavily toward technical domains like developer infrastructure and trust and safety. Positioning your application around platform-scale coordination experience, not just project delivery, aligns with the roles that move through sponsorship most smoothly.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open roles by visa type
Roblox posts Program Manager roles across multiple teams with varying sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles where your visa category is supported, so you're not spending time on positions that won't move forward.
Ask about E-3 or TN pathways before H-1B
If you're an Australian or Canadian citizen, Roblox's sponsorship history includes E-3 and TN classifications alongside H-1B. Raising these options during the offer stage can accelerate your start date significantly since neither category involves the annual lottery or a hard cap wait.
Align your offer timeline with the H-1B cap calendar
H-1B registrations open in March for an October 1 start. If you're interviewing between May and January, confirm whether Roblox will file for the next cap cycle or consider a cap-exempt bridge. The 60-day grace period after a role ends doesn't pause this calendar.
Confirm the LCA covers your actual work location
Roblox operates across multiple sites, and the DOL Labor Condition Application must list the specific worksite where you'll be based. If your role shifts to a different office or becomes hybrid post-hire, your employer needs to file an amended LCA before the change takes effect.

Find Program Manager at Roblox JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Roblox sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Roblox sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company has a consistent track record of sponsoring this function across its technical and platform teams. Because H-1B is subject to the annual lottery, your offer timing relative to the March registration window matters. Roblox works with immigration counsel to file petitions, so confirm the process and any key dates during your offer negotiation.
Which visa types does Roblox commonly sponsor for Program Managers?
Roblox sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 (for Chilean and Singaporean nationals), E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), F-1 OPT, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your citizenship, degree, and how quickly you need to start. E-3 and TN are worth exploring first if you qualify, since neither involves a lottery.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Roblox?
Applications go through Roblox's careers portal, where roles are listed by team and location. To find openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, browse Migrate Mate, which surfaces Roblox Program Manager roles alongside sponsorship history for each position. Tailor your application to emphasize cross-functional technical coordination, since Roblox PM roles are heavily integrated with engineering and product teams.
What qualifications does Roblox look for in Program Manager candidates?
Roblox Program Manager roles generally require a bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, or information systems. Beyond the degree, the company looks for experience managing large-scale platform or infrastructure programs, strong cross-functional stakeholder management, and comfort working in ambiguous, high-growth environments. For visa sponsorship, the technical degree is particularly important because it supports the specialty occupation classification required for H-1B filings.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship at Roblox?
The timeline depends on your visa category. F-1 OPT can authorize work quickly after an offer, while H-1B requires registration in March and an October 1 start at the earliest. E-3 and TN can be processed at a U.S. consulate in a matter of weeks. For Green Card sponsorship through PERM, expect a multi-year process. Discuss your current status and expiration dates with Roblox's HR team early so the right pathway is in motion before your authorization lapses.
